Pick up order
I ordered this wrapping paper on line for a drive up pickup. Before the order was even finished processing, I found it elsewhere and tried to call to cancel. This was at the Kirkwood MO Target. The woman at customer service said she did not know how to do that, and transferred me to "Drive-up" department. That line was busy, and after a couple minutes, it hung up on me. I immediately called back customer service, where I could here the customer service women talking to customers, but she never spoke with me. It's as if she answered the call and just set the phone down. I waited at least ten minutes, then hung up and tried again. Each time, the same thing would happen. I did this over 20 times, and could never get the women to speak with me, or even acknowledge she was answering the call. All the while, I could clearly hear her conversations with customers at the service desk, including asking people the last four digits of their credit card for their returns. It was very frustrating. And eventually, I received notice that my item was ready for pickup. I could not cancel it at that time. I tried to call the store first thing the next day, on a Saturday morning at 8;00 when it first opened. It either just rang forever because no one was at the service desk, or once again, the same woman answered and set the phone down while she waited on customers. My only option was to pick up the item and return in person. Online returns should be much easier. I will not be using target pickup option again. The phone system at this store location is horrible to get through to someone. When I did pick the item up, the "drive-up" person said I could have just not picked it up, and the item would eventually be refunded on my credit card,. But your website does not mention this, and implies you must pick the item up and return in person at the store. Overall, a very unsatisfactory purchase, and was extremely disappointed with the customer service person at the store. It was the same woman who took my return in person, because I recognized her voice after calling the store so many times and overhearing her conversations with customers till I eventually had to hang up. She was not pleasant at all in person.
