Description
Pointed-tip blades are handy for applications that require you to puncture the material to initiate your cut—such as when the cut begins in the middle, rather than at the edge, of the material. As with all Slice blades, the 10525 features a finger-friendly edge that cuts effectively but is safe to the touch. Slice’s safety blades also last up to 11 times longer than comparable steel blades. This advanced ceramic utility blade is non-magnetic, oil-free, chemically inert, and never rusts. Comes in a pack of two blades.

First off, I want to say unequivocally that the Slice blade edge is amazing. It is everything promised: it's plenty sharp for all my regular use, yet I can safely touch the edge and not get immediately cut. I doubt I'll ever go back to other blades.\r\n\r\nWhy not five stars? Well, the thicker slice blades are a bit of a challenge to push\/wiggle\/force into my utility knives. I appreciate that the thicker blade body helps keep the ceramic from breaking, but the tolerance is very tight, especially in the Maker Knife I carry every day. So be warned these blades might take some effort to insert.\r\n\r\nBut I've obviously made it work. So you can, too!
Utility blades are fantastic, fit knives, cut well, safe.

The utility blades provided by Slice are fantastic! They fit easily into the knives my team already have, so they don't have to buy new knives. The blades cut very well and comply with our safety needs.

We have some use for the pointed-tip blades but feel these will be safer than standard metal blades.
