I don't know how or why, but the part that goes through the ear feels thicker than any other earring. I had a hard time putting them in my ears. Then after a few hours I went to take them out. And one of them got STUCK IN MY EAR!!!! The clasp/catch was stuck and would not come out. My ear was bleeding and I had to have my husband trim the end with a wire cutter.

Favorite daily earrings
I have these in both gold and silver and these are my favorite daily earrings. They stay in, don't tarnish from daily use (including showering and workouts) and are the perfect size to wear in multiple piercings. I only have double piercings in each ear and the size and look of these are so perfect that I'm considering getting my ears triple pierced simply because these are such a staple for me right now. Highly recommend.

Oxidization
The hinges are a little tough to open at first, but it does get easier. I liked that the clickers stayed in place once locked in! Comfortable to wear and even sleep in. The problem is that this IS cheap metal, and it oxidizes. The metal will develop a green funk where it meets skin and will leave residue in your piercing. They're cute for the short term, or if you want to just try clickers, but definitely not a long-term earring.
