A: Ana, "green" is Metro Mia but it's more of a seafoam green.
A: Sorry but it is very GRAY, not any shade of pale green
A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. They can be placed around a fireplace as they are heat resistant to 49C (120F). They should not be within 8in of an open flame however to avoid damage. We do not suggest installing them on the hearth as falling wood and embers could damage the tiles.
A: Hello, They can be installed over wall paper as long as the the existing surface is not damaged and is smooth in texture. Be sure to clean the area with a degreaser product such as TSP before installation.
A: Hi Jamie, Smart Tiles are great for rental apartments. They are an easy, flexible and an affordable way to liven up a space. They are easy to remove with very little to no damage as long as the installation guidelines were followed. To remove, we recommend using a hairdryer to warm and soften the adhesive. Then, you will gently peel back the tile. Repeat the process until all is removed. Use a mild cleaner to wash and remaining residue.
A: Hello Nani, we do not recommend installing Smart Tiles on a work surfaces such as countertops and floors. Doing so will damage the tiles and void the warranty.
A: Hello Jen, you may install our peel and stick Smart Tiles directly over an existing backsplash such as ceramic or glass, as long as the tiles have been properly cleaned with a degreaser. Please ensure that the existing surface is sleek and smooth without any texture for our Smart Tiles to adhere properly. Also, you must take into account the width and depth of the existing grout lines as this might affect the outcome.
A: Hello, we guarantee our tiles to stick as long as you need it too, therefore, this is quite unusual and is very concerning. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and our Customer Service team will be happy to help.
A: Hello, they may be installed around the outside of your bathtub, although, our peel and stick tiles are resistant to moisture and humidity however, direct contact with water over a prolonged period of time may affect the adherence of the product. Just make sure that the area has been properly cleaned with a degreaser, thoroughly dried and wait at least 48 hours before using the bathtub to ensure the tile has a chance to properly adhere to the surface.
A: Hello Karen, All Smart Tiles are .07in (.18cm) thick. It is possible to use a caulking product along the bottom or side to seal an area if needed. Good luck with your project! Thank you.
A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. They are resistant to the heat of a stove. However, if you have a stove without a back control panel or metal plate, you must respect a safety zone (without Smart Tiles) of 20 cm (8 in.) above the surface of the stove in order to prevent direct exposure to an open flame and we recommend to install our Smart Panel. For counter top appliances such as toaster ovens, mini ovens and others, keep a space of 6 cm (2 in.) between Smart Tiles and the appliance. Thank you.
