A: The Jellyfish Tank is a nice desk decoration. For child safety reasons, we made it run on batteries, instead of being a plug-in toy. It will run for about 24 hours with fresh batteries, but we suggest you turn it off when not in use.

A: The Jellyfish Aquarium wasn't designed as a plug-in for child safety reasons. If left on, it will run through batteries in a day, so we suggest shutting it off when not in use.

My daughter got this as a birthday gift and at first it was awesome! Really cool light and the jellyfish flint around; she loved doing her homework by it. After first week the light and fan stopped working so we changed the batteries but even after that, and switching the water out, it still won’t work. Was really cool while it lasted but glad I didn’t pay for it or I’d be really ticked off.

It’s gorgeous for the 30 minutes it works. Fan broke after three cycles of batteries. Doesn’t last for more than a day, but at 4 batteries a use…not worth the money.

We opened the box last week and set the lamp up with new batteries. It's been used 3-4 times and the batteries are already dead. It would be better if it had a cord option.

Purchased for my son. Worked great for the first battery cycle. Changed the batteries and now it won’t work correctly. Lights come on but jellyfish won’t swim anymore and we’ve tried redoing the water but not luck :(

Burns four AAs in a few hours. Had to hook up two 3v lithium batteries to even make it useful. If you can do that it's a great night light the kids love.

Just as simple as that. Jelly fish won't move. It lights up. 2 jelly fish stuck at top, one sinks to bottom. Super lame. Disappointed kid. New batteries and everything. Dont bother.

We got for Christmas and one jellyfish wouldn't swim at all. Tried many methods to no avail. Two still swim and it's still be working fine. It's April now, so 3.5 months ..

Super cool for a little while.. after putting new batteries in, it just won't work anymore. It lights up but no movement. We did troubleshooting and waited it out. No luck.

Light goes off right away, the jellyfish have been stuck at the top. Before you think I didn’t, I did all the troubleshooting recommendations. Really poorly designed overall and a waste of money. Don’t buy it.

It's fun once you wait out the oxygen bubbles. Water from the tap may contain oxygen. Bubbles will be on the tank sides and gather in the jellyfish and they will seem to float and not 'swim' like they should. I've had it for a few weeks and saw this myself. I left it alone till I saw no more bubbles and all three jellyfish sunk to the bottom, and now it works as it should. My kids love watching it.

Was super excited to give this to my 4 year old son for his birthday. We set it up, which was fairly easy, but after several hours the jellyfish are stuck at the top. The fan and light still work, but the jellyfish don’t “swim” around anymore. Super disappointed, especially because of the price. Would not recommend.

The jellyfish lamp is a fun little light. And it is exactly as advertised. It takes a little bit to set up but it’s not difficult. Pro: doesn’t take up much space, easy to set up, and really pretty and fun One can’t is that it operates off of a battery which doesn’t last very long if you forget to turn it off overnight. And it is quite small however, it is as advertised.
