they should definitely emphasize SMOKY, it tastes like it should be from a bbq spot. definitely good if that's what you're into, I'm vegetarian so sometimes smoked gouda leans a little pork flavored, but it melted very well and it's a very good price for what you're getting.

Great Flavor, Melts Well
I'm not sure when Target switched from using cellulose to tapioca and potato starch for their shredded cheese, but it really makes a difference in meltability! It'll still never melt quite as well as shredding it yourself, but it's actually pretty close now and sooooo much better than it used to be. Because of the switch, it also doesn't feel/taste as powdery when you eat it cold! Really loved this blend. Despite their names, I personally liked this Smoky Mac & Cheese flavor better in a grilled cheese and the Grilled Cheese Blend better in mac & cheese.
