The outer candy shell is crunchy but it's not like a rock so it's very easy to bite into. The date inside makes it very chewy, reminds me a lot of a sour patch kid but not nearly as sour. The date doesn't taste like a piece of fruit so the watermelon flavor takes over and it honestly tastes like candy. No added sugars! That's what sold me- 3 pieces for 80 calories, and each piece you get 2-3 small bites if you are taking your time. High carbs though- 25g for 3 pieces, but they are fruit carbs from the date so can digest easy. Tastes like watermelon, has a very light light sour taste (not as much as a sour patch kid), easy to chew and bite. I'm already on my way to buy more. Highly recommend this flavor.

Sour watermelon 10/10

absolutely love the sour candy coating, really gave it a unique fun twist on the regular date flavor. Although I did get a pit while I was eating one of these, that is expected with whole grown dates. I love this watermelon flavor so much.

I tried Smood Sweets candy dates and was pleasantly surprised. Good idea, bad product

Really wanted to like these but the pits in the dates killed it for me. Be careful eating these unless you want to get stabbed in the mouth by the pits. Also, the flavors did not mesh well.

Taste like sour skittles

OK, these are actually really good! If you get a good piece of the coating, they totally taste like sour skittles to me. Had they chopped them up into smaller pieces they would taste exactly like healthy sour skittles..

Not good

I really wanted to like these. I’ve saw them all over TikTok now I know that the influencers are lying about them because they’re absolutely disgusting. I’m taking it back to target to see if I can get my money back. They taste nothing like a childhood candy like is advertised. All they are a sad dry dates.

Candy coated date did not look like the picture. More flat coating with sad dry dates inside. Flavor was not good. Always up to try the latest trendiest dates, but this was not it. Wish I did not waste my money. This company will definitely not survive.

Strange combination

I feel like this would have tasted great with coffee/ vanilla/ toffee/peanut butter flavors. Fruity and sour artificial flavors did not go well with the date flavor. I liked the chewy texture but not the flavor.
