Poor replacement for Fountain Mist
This replaced the far superior Fountain Mist. There are more unnecessary ingredients in the Mtn Dew flavor and the flavor is not as crisp as Fountain Mist. Mtn Dew just gets a slimy texture and doesn't have as good of a flavor. For many, the selling point of Soda Stream is that it has less harmful ingredients, but inviting Pepsi products in brings all their harmful ingredients with them. Plus it pushes out the better, less harmful flavors that Soda Stream started with. They also started putting out new flavor bottles (without warning) that don't have a built in measuring cap, forcing you to figure out the measurement yourself, or buy all new bottles with the new measuring markings.

You changed Mountain Dew!!!!!!!
I recently got new Mountain Dew Syrup for my Sodastream and I noticed the bottle changed. Not a huge deal but I also noticed the taste changed too. It was normal mountain dew, and I used the same measurement as before but it tastes like Diet, not regular.

Even though it's supposed to be regular Mt. Dew, it has artificial sweetener and you can taste it. I really thought I had accidentally gotten the diet or zero version, but it's not. Really bummed because I was excited about getting the soda stream.

This drink mix is significantly different from regular MT. Dew. It has 1/4 of the normal amount of sugar and uses artificial sweeteners to attempt to make up for it. Will never buy again.

I really tried, was hoping to eliminate some plastic waste by making my own, but the "regular" Mt Dew and all the other flavors here have artificial sweetener and taste so bitter to me. Waste of money now for me on the whole system. 🫤

Not bad at all. Really close to Mt. Dew. I know it's Mt. Dew, but it's got a little different flavor. It's not quite as citrusy as when it's mass produced. It also has a "Fake" sugar flavor much like artificial flavoring. Which is kind of expected. Other than that, It's really good.

Toxic chemical syrup.
Bought in store, and sadly did NOT live up to the caned mountain dew, tasted like slime, because of the unhealthy sucralose as a ingredient, won't buy the syrups again until the fake chemical "sweetener" is taken out, and real sugar is the only sweetener again, like fountain mist had.

I could tell from the moment I poured it out it was gonna be pretty bad. The Orange soda is thick and heavy and makes a delicious soda. This stuff poured like water and made Mt. Dew La Croix. Do not buy if you are looking for Mt. Dew.

Nothing like Mt Dew
