[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to wait yo review this until I could try a regular Mug Root Beer for comparison as it's been quite a while since I had one. I had to settle with a fountain soda as I couldn't find a bottle. I have to say that it tastes quite similar. The only major difference is that the syrup for the soda stream has a slight artificial after taste to it but overall it's pretty true to the original and not bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this out, as nothing beats a fresh and bubbly root beer when you want one. And Mug Root Beer is probably my favorite! I didn’t know Sodastream made a syrup for this so this was perfect. I like my soft drinks to be extra crispy with the carbonation and Sodastream allows me to do that. Using this syrup with my machine allows me to make a root beer that is ten times better than store bought. The mixing instructions are easy to follow and you can tailor the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less syrup. Sodastream seems to have improved the cap design recently, as this bottle didn’t seem to get as messy as some of the other syrups I’ve used in the past. Highly recommend having this product in your pantry if you are a root beer or a soft drink fan.
