  • A: The E-Terra requires electricity and has a light, both of which limit the machine's use. And it is more expensive. The Terra works beautifly, doesn't require a plug-in or increase electrical use.

  • A: Hi there! To carbonate, firmly push the carbonating button all the way down and hold the button for 1-2 seconds and release. Repeat 3 times for standard fizz and 5 times for strong fizz.

Versatile little machine just wish the seal was a little better

SodaStream Terra delivers high versatility in a small footprint. You're able to carbonate two different sizes of bottles based off how big of a drink you are making, and now that they are owned by PepsiCo, you are able to use your flavors you know and love. They made it even easier now with these new bottles—they have two little lines on them: one where you fill it with water and the second one is where you pour it with syrup. It's not a science experiment no more, where you have to pour it in a cap and then pour it into the thing and then roll it around as much. It's a lot more simpler now, where you just have to fill it to that line and put the lid on. I normally flip it up and down, and that's more than enough to mix all the flavor around. I like that I don't have to have another appliance plugged into the wall—it's cable free. I can store this in the basement or the garage and don't have to give up more counter space. I do, however, feel like the seal is not the best; it could be worked on a little more. It does carbonate it, but I personally use about seven pushes, and they recommend about three. That's what works for my machine, and that's what gives me that classic soda feel. Due to the seal, that's the only reason it's getting a 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the greatest purchase I have ever made, you don’t even need the flavor stuff. The water is good as is. Definitely go to the website and set up a CO2 subscription, as you’ll likely use it so much you’ll run out, but it’s amazing.

Love this product

I have been using this seltzer dispenser for about a week. After I figured out the nuances, it works beautifully. I’m hoping for a long life together. No more carrying heavy bottles of seltzer water up the stairs.

Not the fizz I expected

I’ve tried everything and all I get is very minimal tiny little bubbles and a little bit of a soda taste. I was expecting the kind of fizz I get from opening a can of carbonated water.

Good product and results

Easy to use device, happy with the quality of the CO2 carbonation and also with fulfillment packages. My only dissatisfaction was with Shopify somehow middle-manning the order. They're out of the picture now and I look forward to continued use of the unit.

Ripped off by Target!

The CO2 cylinder that came with this purchase had expired. No Co2 was coming out from the cilinder so no bubbly drinks. The cylinder didnt have the protective seal that aaparently comes with all these cylinders when brand new. As this was my first time with this product I didnt know that seal was missing and I proceeded to instal it as it was. Big big surprise when my drink was flat! No bubbles! and a big sense of being ripped off by Target!

Super new unit

I bought this unit to replace my old unit with the screw-in gas connector. Unit finally stopped working, and I definitely wanted a new unit. This new unit functions great and the new gas connector is easy to use.

Fresh refreshing sparking Soda!!!

We love this at home sodastream machine. It’s so amazing to make fresh flavor soda each time. We have been using this for over 3 years now and it’s in great condition. Saved us lots of $$$$ to make homemade soda then to get from outside.

Beverage/Water Taste

Purchased the Diet Pepsi bottle. Arrived damage. Didn't want to deal with a return etc etc. Soda water (used purified, tap, alkaline, etc) leaves an after taste. Terra is great for fast bubbly water. Works well, really well carbonating. Had a Soda Stream years ago (2014?) and it was great. Gave a few to family and friends. I like the one I purchased pretty baby blue. Easy to use.

Not Happy with Level of Carbonation

The level of carbonation has been below that of the previous device I had. I'm still working on it. Haven't had the time to check for tips and troubleshooting advice from the website and the various email I've been receiving.
