A: Hi! This particular variant of Softsoap is not an antibacterial. All of our Softsoap Hand Soaps when used as part of proper hand washing will wash away bacteria. The Antibacterial Softsoap variant is clinically proven to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria* while doing so. In terms of COVID-19, the virus is so new that neither we, nor other companies that we are aware of, have tests specifically for it. The CDC and the FDA say regular handwashing, particularly before and after certain activities, is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others. Hope this helps.
