Q: Is this hand sanitizing soap? Does it kill 99% of bacteria when used properly?

A: Hi! This particular variant of Softsoap is not an antibacterial. All of our Softsoap Hand Soaps when used as part of proper hand washing will wash away bacteria. The Antibacterial Softsoap variant is clinically proven to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria* while doing so. In terms of COVID-19, the virus is so new that neither we, nor other companies that we are aware of, have tests specifically for it. The CDC and the FDA say regular handwashing, particularly before and after certain activities, is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others. Bought a couple months ago and had no scent like it used to. Smells like a regular bar of soap. I have found that Safeguard is making pump bottles of hand soap in several fragrances and I like the Ocean Breeze. Bottles are bigger and smells really good and is now my new go to. No more Softsoap for me.

Very disappointed in this handsome as they changed the scent. The old scent was fabulous, I LOVED it, this new formula and scent is terrible! PLEASE bring back the old scent! If it ain't broke DON'T try to fix it!

I bought this particular soft soap Fresh Breeze for years and now it no longer has any scent. I see the flowers are no longer on the bottles and the fragrance is definitely omitted. Bring back this fragrance please.

All of our liquid soaps can be used just like any bar soap. Therefore, while Softsoap Liquid Soap was designed specifically for hand care, it can be used in the shower provided the user does not have problem skin. We do offer Softsoap Body Washes; these were specifically designed to be used in the shower. We do not recommend that liquid soaps or body washes be used in the bath to soak in due to risk of urinary tract infections

Bring back the original scent! It was my favorite hand soap and the new scent and packaging is terrible. I agree with other reviewers - why would you completely reformulate a scent that’s been around for years and years to something completely different and call it the same thing?

This brand of Soft Soap is great. It's Fresh Breeze scent is light and airy and not over powering. It only takes a little bit but it goes a long way when washing your hands and cuts the dirt and grime and any odors right off and doesn't leave a strong smell that lingers on your hands. It is not at all expensive and is well worth the money spent buying this kind of Soft Soap. It rinses right off and doesn't leave any slim or soap scum in your sink after you are done washing your hands.
