It does what I wanted it to do: saws small logs. I’m not too impressed with the plastic lock but so far (it’s virtually brand new) it’s working.

This folding saw has a sharp blade, folds easily, and does its job well. It can easily cut through branches and small limbs 3-4" thick. The saw teeth are sharp and aggressive; this is not for making finish cuts by any means. However, it is effective at removing the skull plate of a deer. The overall construction is plenty acceptable given the price, but there are better options available (for more money). For a tool that only gets used a few times a year, this is a great option and I am happy with it.

I bought this saw to keep in my vehicle as a just in case. Well today was a just in case day, we had some winds last night that knocked a sapling across the driveway. (I live in the woods) that handy little saw was perfect. Before my partner could walk back to retrieve his chainsaw, I had the tree cut in 3rds and the driveway cleared. I wouldn’t want to cut a large tree, but that’s more about my own strength rather than the saws capabilities. Very sturdy, and very easy to use.

Solid construction, hefty hinge and latch mechanism, cuts with ease.

Mine locked and will no longer open. Got to open it once before it broke. Super disappointed and making me question any SOG product that isn't a knife.
