There is no discomfort level in talking about the limitations of these children. Instead, the reader learns that children in wheelchairs go to the library, go to summer camp, and participate in all kinds of regular activities. The illustrations are photographs of multicultural children using ramps, visiting physical therapists, and going to doctor visits.
