Description
How fast can you go with the Sonic Speed R/C? Recreate the action from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ games as Sonic races to save the world and confront Dr. Eggman! This R/C includes a detachable Sonic figure, R/C skateboard, and Gold Ring controller. The controller is inspired by Sonic’s Rings from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ video games, and has 3 buttons for total control: go forward, turn and 360-degree spins, and Turbo mode that lights the wheels up for that extra boost! Sonic Speed R/C is approximately 1:5 scale with design inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog™ video games. The removable Sonic figure is 6-inches tall and has 13 points of articulation for awesome poses. Take your R/C and have fun on the go! This R/C requires 8 AA alkaline batteries. It has a range of 100 feet and works best on flat and smooth surfaces. It uses a 2.4GHz frequency. Adult supervision required. Some children will need assistance with assembly.

I ordered this toy for my son despite the reviews saying it didn’t work . Should’ve listened to the reviews because it didn’t work , ordered a replacement which ended up not working either . The ring just blinks and doesn’t connect to the sonic . Skip this one

Do not buy
Just opened it and it keeps turning off even after putting a fresh set of batteries in it. It would be cool if it actually worked. I’m seeing a lot of people who are having the same issue.

Broken before even playing with it
Quality must be bad because my kids didn’t even get to play with it as I inserted the batteries this body came apart. Heartbroken cause my kids didn’t get to play with it.. it was a Christmas present.

Dont buy!
This takes a lot of batteries and dies really fast. Then the whole toy broke by the second day. Don’t buy!

Too many batteries
My kid loves it but I very much dislike how many batteries it takes and how quickly it eats through the batteries. 8 batteries for MAYBE 1 hour of play time is ridiculous. Do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I will say my child loves this sonic rc toy, it is a bit much as far as batteries are concerned! It literally takes 8 AA batteries! That's a lot of batteries between the sonic thing itself and the ring controller. But other than the excessive amount of batteries it's a cute little rc toy! I love the details on sonic also. It gets going pretty good and you can also press q button on the ring controller for a turbo burst. The rc sonic itself is pretty solid build wise. But the ring controller is a bit on the lighter side. I feel like the plastic would break after a couple accidental drops on the hardfloor or pavement. Overall nice toy

It was really fast to use inside, so this ended up being an outside toy for our house. My son loved being able to control the sonic with the round handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old uses Sonic 2 remote control toy EVERYDAY and loves it!! The remote controller was very easy to install/put together and use right out of the package. The gold ring is so different from any other typical remote control car, which makes the toy so much better. The Sonic 2 remote control is made so well and able to withhold any abuse a toddler gives it. This toy provides hours and hours of fun. Only down fall is we have to change the batteries often.
