    Not Sour, Plastic Patch Strips

    I had high hopes, I LOVE Sour Patch Kids. These were nasty. You know the smell of powdered green Gatorade that comes in the tin? It's like that, the moment you open the bag it smells like green Gatorade powder. The texture is similar to chewing plastic. The red and blue are not the worst (not tasty by any means) but the orange and green ones taste like plastic dipped in Gatorade powder. I have no other way to explain it, it's not good Gatorade powder, it's like old, stale, bottom of a container you've had open for 4 months. I'd rather dry scoop Gatorade powder into my mouth than eat this again. I couldn't finish the orange strip.

    Do not listen to promotional reviews

    These are absolutely disgusting. I love sour patch kids, but these are not that. They aren’t sour, even slightly. Every flavor just tastes very chemically. I have a pretty high threshold for chemicals, but this is just too much for me. Like it literally tastes like I’m eating fake candy. I tried each flavor and then tossed the bag. Do not buy!!!!!

    Stick to the original!

    These were a waste of money and it’s horrible that they put the sour patch kids name to shame. These pale in comparison to a sour patch kid and I am angry with myself for attempting to try something new. I will not make this mistake again. Do not recommend!

    Chemical Garbage

    As an avid Sour Patch Kid lover... I was so excited to stumble across these. When I got home and my husband and I tried them, we immediately spat them out. Not even being dramatic, these taste NOTHING like Sour Patch Kids. They have an awful chemical-like aftertaste. They're hard and stick to your teeth. Just skip these and get actual Sour Patch Kids.
