Description
Book Synopsis
Unemployment is growing. Crime is on the increase. The currency has fallen. The initial euphoria following South Africa's transition to democracy is waning as people become disillusioned with the state of the economy and government's lack of delivery on polices and promises. Where does South Africa go from here? It is not all doom and gloom and there is hope for the future. Anthony Ginsberg offers solutions to the fundamental problem of rising unemployment, crime, homelessness and poverty, all excerbated by high taxes, draconian tariffs and stagnant foreign investment. He encourages us to become informed and aware before we criticise. This book is aimed at everyone interested in contributing to South Africa' s future as a prosperous nation in the benefit of all her citizens.About the Author
Born in South Africa and raised in Cape Town ANTHONY GINSBERG studied business science at the University of Cape Town and thereafter qualified as a certified public accountant in the USA. He began his career with Arthur Andersen and then joined Salomon Brothers Investment Bank in New York. In 1993 he started up his own international tax consulting firm and served as special adviser to a number of Government departments and multinational companies. He has since returned to South Africa and is a director of an international bank. He is the author of three books on tax havens, international tax planning and offshore investment as well as a regular contributor on South African affairs in South Africa including F&T Weekly, Finance Week and Die Burger. This book has been written because of his conviction that South Africa can offer every citizen a secure future.Dimensions (Overall): 8.5 Inches (H) x 5.5 Inches (W) x .75 Inches (D)
