Q: Does the Saturn pic even light up? We like the color changing feature tho it only lights up a little of the wall behind it and projects nothing. But I at least expected Saturn on the front to light up? Is it supposed to?
submitted by Jennifer - 1 month ago
A: This doesn't light up anything?! Or am I using it wrong? Nothing is lighting up !! Not even the Saturn.

Junk
Not a projecting night light! The light is very dim and definitely not as advertised.

This light sucks
Not at all worth the price. Cheap materials and the “projector” is not a projector at all. It just shines light from the top. The battery dies quickly and you can’t leave this on all night unless it’s plugged in. A $5 lamp with a $20 dummy charge, I think. Do not buy.

Cheap and not projecting
This light is listed as a “projection light” but nothing projects. It is a cheaply made, poor quality plastic light bulb that changes colors. Not worth $10, let alone the $25 I paid. I have a very disappointed 3 year old.

NOT a projector
Not a projector. Only a very dim color changing night light. Can’t believe it was $25.

Bummed
I was bummed about this nightlight, I was hoping that it would be less bright but it’s just too bright to use and there is no timer or dimmer. It’s very cute but really not worth it.

Charger port busted
The charger port fell INTO the back of the light box within two months of purchase. Only my husband and I handled the charging. We did not mishandle it in any way. Total waste of $25.

Not what i wxpecyed for $25
Like others have said it isn’t a projector. Was hoping for a nightlight that would stay lit all night and this is NOT that. The light dies in less than 12 hours which kind of defeats the point. Probably going to return if I can convince my toddler to go with one I found for $10 that can last up to two days.

Not projecting, deacription is predatory
I purchased this and I am returning it. It is NOT a projection. It is just a light and not a very bright light. Nothing gets projected and it only lights up a small area of the room.

Not actually a projector
This is called a projector but it’s really not a projector. It doesn’t project anything onto the ceiling/wall. It’s just a light that changes colors. That being said, my kids love it and I love that it has a timer setting. You can let it change colors or make it stay on one color.

Great night light and fear conquer!
This is a really cool product! My son has fought with fear of the dark since he was little and this was the first time we’ve been able to turn off his lamp. He loves how it shines stars on his ceiling. He loves space and this is a great addition to his space collection.

Predatory naming, misleading product.
Very misleading. The box makes it seem like this is something special. Putting the words ‘space projection’ on here is an outright lie. It does not project, and the only space aspect is the planet on the front that you can’t even see when using the light. This is a colored lightbulb in a cheap plastic box with a 3ft usb cord. Save your $. Not worth even $5.

Cool colorful and bright
This colorful nightlight is adorable. You can plug it in and it works great. My eight year old loves it. It has a convenient timer that turns it off after 15 minutes or you can just have it turned on.

Cute but too bright
This is cute in theory but ultimately is too bright to be a night light and runs out of batteries quickly. I like that you can choose the color but my kids wanted rainbow and i think that is what ran the battery down so quickly.

Cute light
My son is into space/planets and thought this was pretty cool. It charges fairly quick via an included USB cable which feels sturdy. You can choose between a few solid colors or have it fade between them all. It is pretty bright and the light itself is at the back, the image does not light up. As it’s called a projection light, I was expecting it to show Saturn on the ceiling but it does not, only the colors light up. It’s not too big and a cute addition to a kid’s room.

Cute Night Light
My son has a new fear of the dark so we got this as a night light for him. Its a little deceptive as it says projection so I assumed it projected the night sky on the ceiling - nope. Its just a light. It does change colors and you can have it cycle or you can pick the color you want. It also has a timer- 15 or 60 minutes or always on. I also like that it can be plugged in (no power block included) and charged. So we can take it with us to a hotel or camping. It is a cute light and has some great features.

A little misleading
This is a neat little nightlight for a kids room. The design is fun and the colors are beautiful. I was a little confused by the description. It isn't exactly what I would consider a projector. The light itself is fairly small, which does fit perfectly on my son's small dresser. The battery life is only 8 hours, so if you plan on keeping it on all night, you'll have to charge it in the morning. The settings are nice, though. You can choose which color you'd like the light to be, or have it slowly switch colors. You can set an auto timer for 15 or 60 minutes. I do wish that the charger cord came with a wall adapter so you could plug it into an outlet.

Ok nightlight. Not projector
Not a projector at all. Was under the impression that it would project some sort of space design onto the ceiling, but it did not. It does offer lights that can change color and also has a timer that can be set. Also, did not come with a usb block to plug into the wall so you either have to have an extra converter or a usb plug in the wall. Would not recommend
