Gorgeous lamp but requires serious patience to put together.

This lamp was so painful to put together. It took me about an hour and that was including the time it took to redo the first few steps. If I had to do it over again I would have read the instructions twice or maybe three times, thoroughly, before starting. Also, unlike furniture, you really want to tighten screws and bolts very tightly as you go from step to step. I did manage to do it myself and the end result is amazing. The lamp is spectacular.
I've had it for a few months now, and the knob for the light switch broke off. We've ordered two different sets of Allen wrenches, but the set screw must be 1mm because none of them fit. I cannot get the light to switch on using the plastic internal component that is left on the base, so the entire lamp is entirely nonfunctional now. It was a hassle to put together, but otherwise I have liked the lamp until now. Disappointed that for $130 it was so poorly made.
I should have read the other reviews first. The construction of this lamp is poorly designed. Save your money!!! If you want something similar, get something you don't have to assemble. The worst part is that the cords in the branches are much longer than the tubing is. The body will not screw apart once you've screwed it together. You have to have eyes like a hawk to screw in the globes. A huge waste of 130.00. I love you, Target
I really really do. But stop selling this awful lamp.
I love the lamp! After reading the reviews I was alittle hesitant if I should order it or not because people were saying that it was really complicated trying to put it together. To my surprise it was very easy. I did get help from my daughter, so that was a big help. We started from the top as the instructions said and we put it together in 25 minutes. The lights that came with it do seem alittle bright but I will try them out for a couple of days and see how like it.
I was putting this noodle lamp together and it was a bit awkward. My husband finally came by and began helping. His first comment was wow this thing is pretty well made. It is...beefy marble base...all brass like finish. This is a fun floor lamp for a high ceiling space. It takes a little patience to get it together. Really happy with shipping and purchase.
