Q: Is this an outdoor or indoor table? How is it different from Christopher Knight's Della Table?

  • A: The tables are the same but there is a different finish. The Sparta comes in dark brown finish with rustic legs which cannot be in the Della version.

Q: It looks like the space between the wood wouldn't be ideal since food could easily get stuck in there. You wouldn't be able to wipe this table down easily without things getting into the cracks. Is that just the pictures?

Delivery time - great, as promised when ordering. Aspect - very nice, if you are into wood, it has a nice finish. Check pictures carefully as the top is not a continuous board - make sure this is what you want; if this is ok for you, the aspect is very nice. Delivery condition - not so great, the package was handled roughly, one of the two elements of the top of the table has a dent, although it is reasonbaly well packaged. @Target - I would have a conversation with your couriers. Did not bother to return. Assemply time and effort - relatively long if you want to do it right (assemble all screws without tightening firmly, put the table on position and then tighten everything from underneath). It is stable, well balanced, the two halfs of the top board very well connected with hinges and then with the screws you add. In all, a good compromise price / quality.

Yellow Wood

The color of this table is horrible. The wood is a bright yellow shade. The legs are dark brown not black. I sanded the table and it looks much better but just beware the color of the wood is much more yellow than what you see in their pictures. Here is a picture of the original and then after I sanded it.

Love the colors in the wood. Assembly was pretty straightforward. Seems to hold up well to an occasional cat jumping on it—so far no scratches, yet, which is nice. My discerning mom even liked it, so that’s a plus! Goes well with the Christopher Knight acacia teak bench. I’m very happy with this purchase so far! Good price too!

We had to return this because there were too many cracks/openings that would get crumbs and other pieces of food stuck in or falling to the ground. We saw there were those in one corner of an example image online, but other images made it seem smooth. With kids, we want a table that’s more easily wipeable. Other than that, the wood is beautiful and it feels like a very sturdy table.

We are actually returning this, but wanted to review it to warn others. The table legs are very sturdy and the table feels like it would be sturdy. However the wood seems very porous so we would have put a clear coat on it. The alignment was wonky and there was a dent. Just overall underwhelmed and disappointed. We waited 4 weeks for this.

Very disappointed. There is a big indentation on the top of the table and started cracking on the bottom of the table also. Wood on the bottom of the table was not sanded correctly.

I was looking for an affordable dining table that matched my oak china cabinet and chairs. This is very modern, and my cabinet and chairs are more traditional. But for the price and quality, I can live with that.

This table fits great in my dining area. I was surprised by how small the box was that the table arrives in, and at first was worried it would be too small. Once paired with the chairs ( I ordered the Becket X back chairs in black) it easily fits 8 chairs. If you are purchasing this with the intention of seating 8 people, I'd definitely go with a slightly smaller chair. There are open spaces in between the wood slats, but I don't mind that at all. If you are leaving the table top uncovered, make sure you are proactive about protecting the wood by not sliding heavy plates, centerpieces, etc. across the top.

We looked long and hard for a reasonably priced sturdy wood table and are so glad we picked this one. Lovely rich wood colors and very sturdy. Assembly wasn’t too difficult - 1 screw didn’t fit right but we just drilled a slightly bigger hole. The table top is designed with gaps between each wood slat FYI. Also it has hinges and can be folded (which is how it is shipped).
