Kellogg's Special K Pumpkin Spice Breakfast Cereal - 16.7oz: No Certified Synthetic Colors

A: The boxes I bought in-store this month are best by June 2, 2026. In past years, they've also had BB dates of late spring to early summer, so I think you'd be fine. I'll warn you, there are a lot fewer clusters in this year's batch though. I had an entire bowl of just flakes.

A: The available stock of this product may include individual packages with different expiration dates. Target uses a “first-in, first-out” inventory management process and carefully monitors product expiration.

A: The Total Sugars values shown in the Nutrition Facts panel represent the amount of sugar in the cereal alone and, in the “with ¾ cup skim milk” column, the combined amount from both the cereal and the milk. The cereal provides 11 g of Total Sugars per 1 cup serving. When ¾ cup of skim milk is added, the milk contributes additional naturally occurring sugars, bringing the combined Total Sugars value to 20 g per serving. Therefore, the increase in Total Sugars reflects the sugars naturally present in the milk in addition to the sugars already present in the cereal. The cereal's sugar content does not change; the label simply shows the total amount of sugar in the cereal-and-milk combination.
