This is one of the worst ice creams I have ever tried. There is so much salt in it that every bite and it is very overwhelming. When I could taste the lime, it had a really weird artificial flavor. I could only eat three bites and threw the rest away. I like margaritas, but they should not be ice creams.

I love it! I had a feeling when I tasted it that most people wouldn’t like it. Came to the reviews and that was confirmed. I like the oddness of the creamy lime flavor, usually finding lime flavor in ices or sorbets. The hint of salt and spicy is delicious. For me it hit with creamy lime, sweet, then a hint of salt, with an occasional hint of spicy. I’d like more of the spicy hit, but I can always add my own tajin or spicy lime flakes to kick it up. I did not think the lime flavor tasted artificial. I will be buying this flavor as long as it’s available. I find it very satisfying..

I love this so much!!! Tastes like a sophisticated version of lime flavored yogurt. It would have been nice as a sorbet as well but I prefer ice cream to sorbet at all times. I will be getting more!

I actually really like the crunchy bits in this -- salty and just a tiny bit spicy -- and even the lime goo isn't bad. The ice cream, though, leaves a lot to be desired. It definitely tastes like a very strong, artificial lime, similar to a lime sherbet. I think if they'd gone with a more traditional/natural lime ice cream this would have been amazing, but the sherbet taste ruined this for me. It almost reminded me of a lime scented floor cleaner or something. Two stars just because the add-ins were good, but overall not great and I wouldn't buy again.

Why they opted to make a margarita ice cream cream based instead of a sorbet is beyond me. It ended up feeling more like a spicy key lime pie ice cream. Also the salt chunks and the spicy goo is just too much going on and makes the appearance downright unappetizing. A better execution would have been a lime sorbet with hints of orange and agave interspersed with tajin/chili flakes. This was overall, an unpleasant (but fun!) experience!

This ice cream is tasty for $3 - the saltiness is nice. VERY lime forward but I do wish it was spicier. The first few bites I was not sure if it was good but the flavor grew on me and I think it would be refreshing when the temps get summer hot.

I love the taste of lime, and I thought this was worth a try. The taste was extremely artificial and just… wasn’t good— made me sick. I ended up throwing this away. Now if FD had a lime sorbet… I wouldn’t be opposed!
