Spring Matelasse Blanket - Threshold™

I spent months looking for the perfect color/pattern of blanket. After several stores, I finally found this one and loved it! Even ordered is online because my local store didn't have it in a king size yet. However, I am extremely disappointed in the quality. After one wash (following the instructions of warm water and tumble dry), several of the white stitching threads are now loose. I bought this as an everyday use blanket, not one of those "only look, don't touch" blankets. $50 for what is essentially a king size throw is a lot for something that can't hold up.

Feels so nice! And a very pretty color

Love the colors and texture but it's not holding up well at all. So many threads are pulling out just from my husband setting his gym bag or laundry basket on it. I'm more careful on my side of the bed but have had to trim several thread pulls already.

I like the feel. It is so soft and comfortable. The colors are not my personal favorite, would be nice in a neutral color. But I loved the feel so much I just had to have it!

First of all this is really cute, but the loose threads that I’m noticing are definitely a bummer. Currently debating whether I can overlook this flaw but I’m also thinking of returning or exchanging it. I feel like the softness and cottagecore vibe might be hard to resist, even if it’s a little “fragile” after the first gentle cycle wash, and makes me wonder if this piece will last. The tag says it’s 35% cotton, 34% recycled polyester and 31% viscose.

Item came damaged with a small hole in it and weird writing on it. I wanted to return it… I didn’t want to bother. But wow is it soft and substantial. It’s heavier but not too much. The color is perfect. The pattern is a good way to add color and mixes well with other patterns in the room. Website says blue but it’s more teal.

Really nice quality for the price and the King size is quite large; I buy King for a Queen bed to provide overhang on the sides. It washed well. It has a really nice texture and can be used almost year round here in Florida.

This is a beautiful blanket/coverlet that could be sold for much more at other stores. Very impressed, Target!

Super soft and pretty. Curious how it will hold up with use with all of the tiny stitching. Lots of loose and hanging threads after the first wash.

Lightweight but still enough for extra warmth. This reminds me of the homemade quilts my grandma had at the end of the beds as it is so soft. The stitching is a great detail too! It did have a little weird smell from the packaging but was easy to wash and seemed even softer after washing.

Fantastic blanket!!! This is the perfect "all the time" blanket. Its a light enough weight for warmer seasons but also warm enough for winter. We even use it on top of a duvet for a little extra warmth. The colors are pretty and it washed/dryed like a dream! I would definitely buy more of these!

Beautiful quilt. Fits our queen size bed perfectly. We have it on top of another blanket right now as it is winter where we are. It is going to be the right thickness comes late spring/summer time. Blanket washes and dry without any issues.

Love the texture on this gorgeous spread. First of all, it's beautiful on its own. And the soft warm material is just amazing, i don’t want to leave my bed when I'm using it. Supreme quality since it kept its colors and softness after a couple od washes.

I am OBSESSED I will be buying several of these for gifts. They're the perfect throw blanket weight, I use it on my couch to keep cozy while binging my favorite shows. It's so cozy, my kids keep trying to take it from me. 😂

This met and exceeded my expexatations. Very well made. Finished edges done nicely. Plenty of width and length. Can be placed either side up. Not too heavy, not too light. Breathable, I am a stickler for this! Highly recommend!
