I've purchased these mugs multiple times for our rental homes. They are great, perfect size and I've never had one break. That said the last time I bought I had shipped and two broke. I brought them back to Target and they replaced without a problem. I did see other reviews about them breaking when shipped so thought I would validate. If possible better to just go to store and pick up.

I ordered online for in store pickup and out of 6 mugs, 3 were chipped around the rim so I had to return and get replacements. Some chips were pretty large. Several on the shelf were also chipped, so it makes me wonder if they just chip easily. If they had not been a gift and requested specifically, I probably would have selected a different mug for that very reason. Wonder if other reviewers have noticed same issue?
