This mug is amazing, but the lid breaks often and it's not covered under the "guaranteed for life" warranty. They also don't have extra lids available for purchase online. When the lid works though, this mug is awesome and nothing will spill when tipped upside down.

The mug itself is outstanding, however, the lid is junk. I've purchased two of these mugs now, and both lids slowly began to leak more and more due to the plastic lid hasp wearing quickly. My second Admiral's Mug lid only lasted a year before the hasp broke completely. Stanley refuses to sell replacement lids for these mugs, despite knowing well the lids don't last. It doesn't matter if the mug itself lasts an eternity if the lids last a year, and no lid replacement is available. Until this changes, I have purchased my last Stanley product. A company that was synonymous with quality and durability for decades has become a shell of what it once stood for.

Very satisfied with this mug. Quality all-around. Highly recommend.

Great construction 100% leak proof and almost impossible to knock over

Lid leaks! I bought this for my husband and felt bad when he came home with hot coffee burns on his chest, not to mention a dirty shirt. We tested the lid and found that while part goes into the intended destination, a good amount drizzles out, below. So frustrating!

This is the ideal mug for U.S. Postal Mail Carriers! It'll sit nicely on your aluminum mail tray, dash, or floor! Its low center of gravity and large flat, slide-proof bottom go a long way in keeping it stable while making the appointed rounds in your L.L.V.! While not impossible to flip, it'll take some serious ruts or potholes to get this thing airborne! LOL!

Great coffee mug, unfortunately it does not keep the coffee warm as much as other Stanley products. Overall the build quality is excellent use it to drink water and bought it for use in our RV.

Good quality construction. I just wish the handle was not connect to the mug [at the bottom] as I use have another brand of mug that I could hang by the handle. Love the wide base so the mug does not tip over and stays where it is set down at.

Nice mug. Not car-friendly, though. The wide bottom makes it more suited to home/office use than for travel.

Love the mug HATE the lid. I do like it can be turned for left or right handed users but the rubber on the drinking hole tab FLAKES off after several months of use. No telling how much rubber flaked off into my mug as I opened and closed it. I'm sure I unknowingly consumed some before I realized it was wearing off. Needless to say I tore most of the rubber off and it no longer seals when closed. I LOVE this mug Stanley. But DO SOMETHING about the lid. I won't buy another or recommend it until you guys come up with a better AND safer lid. People have been complaining about multiple issues with the lid for a long time and you still have not fixed it. I still gave it overall ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ would have been a solid 5 if not for the lid. One ⭐ for the durability due to the lid. Sorry.

It looks great! Keeps the coffee hot!! It doesn't wobble and it doesn't fall down!

I have had this one for about a month very nice great for the drive in the morning no spills and looks good

I work in a woodshop and often have my mug on rolling tables that I move from work station to work station. Previous mugs often fell off and broke. Not this one. Keeps hot stuff hot for several hours and cold stuff cold longer than the beverage lasts. My only complaint is that the screw on the handle keeps falling out and it’s some weird hex with a center pin, so you need a hex socket, I guess.

Got this mainly for my coffee during my 12 hour shift. I was SO disappointed when I found my coffee cold after only 3 hours. I followed the instructions to prep it for hot fluids so that was really saddening and a waste on money. On the other hand it does keep ice for many hours so if you’re looking for something for cold/iced drinks,this might be worth a shot.

I adore this mug. It is stable, holds a lot of coffee, and you still get the “I’m drinking from a mug” feeling that you lose when drinking from other vessels. The lid says it is leak resistant, but I can turn mine upside down and not a drop comes out. My only ask is that it is offered with more color options!

I'm notorious for spilling coffee, and it simply can't be done in this mug. Not accidentally. You would have to try. Slamming on the brakes? Upright. Sharp turns? Upright. This thing is the answer to the chao that follows me.
