A: I've thrown mine in a bag as well as held it upside down. As long as you secure the lid properly and have the straw down there's absolutely no leaking.

A: I threw mine in a bag and it was laying flat and no leaking at all. I also held it upside down for a bit to see and as long as the lid is secured properly and straw closed there was no leaking!

I love Stanley cups, but this one was a big disappointment. I don’t know if mine is defective, but the straw refuses to stay in the lid, it falls out and then in order to drink, you have to remove the lid and shove it back in…inconvenient and not sanitary.
