Stanley 8gal Portable Wet/Dry Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient to use with both the wet and dry functions. We use it for our outside tile area and sometimes the garage. It’s perfect for outside use since you can use the leaf blower function to blow the leaves off the floor and then use the wet vacuum function to clean the floor after spraying some water and soap on there! There are multiple accessories that attach to the unit and a reasonably long cord that doesn’t restrict too much movement. We were most surprised with how light the unit is. It’s very easy for both women and men to carry up and down steps with no problem (of course it’s a bit heavier when liquids are inside)

Usually Stanley's quality is typically unmatched. But as soon as I felt the power it has, I was shook!! It really does a great job. It came with a bunch of attachments for your everyday needs. It also came with clear directions on how to install and also troubleshooting directions in case you ever have a problem and the cord is really long compared to a lot of other brands I have tried. Along with the hoses. It came with one dry bag and one filter that you can use for wet or dry messes. I tested the water suction power as well. I I poured water on the carpet and sucked it up and it was just like a carpet cleaner. It comes with everything you need to vacuum your floor, clean up a spill, or clean your carpets in your ride. Like I mentioned in the beginning, it kinda feels cheaply made like it would break easily. Don't let that fool you!! So if you are searching for a good wet/dry shop vac and you're on a budget, you def want to try this one out. Stanley has always had reasonable high quality items and this is no different!! Very strong suction and great reverse option to double as a leaf blower or anything you might need it for. A little on the noisy side but it will mostly be used outside so, no big deal.

One smart design detail: Stanley offers a cartridge filter that claims compatibility for both wet and dry applications, though in practice most users advise swapping in a foam or “wet-safe” filter when doing liquid cleanup to avoid damage to pleated media. The cord and hose tend to be a bit on the short side, and the unit is louder than a household vacuum (expected at this power), but the blower port and attachments make it versatile. The lid latches are okay—just don’t lift with too much force or drag by the top. The suction power is awesome but the noise level is a bit high which we don’t really mind because it really cleans well. It is taller so looks relatively small than I expected but has 8 gallon capacity which is big enough for our family use. We have another one which needs to be replaced so this is the perfect one. This is a trustful brand and we love this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Stanley 8 Gallon (30.28 Liter) Wet/Dry Vacuum for free in exchange for an honest review. We have nothing but positive comments on this unit. It is easy to assemble. We just attached the rolling wheels onto the caster dolly with a Philip screwdriver. For the dry vacuum, it was easy to place the disposable filter bag which fits inside the base, around the permanent filter. One neat feature was the storage of several accessories at the base of the canister (dust tank). The attachments included are a crevice tool, a wide floor attachment (floor nozzle ), a narrow surface attachment (gulper nozzle), 2 extension wand, and a really long 1-1/4 inch hose. The vacuum takes standard size attachments so you can buy additional non-Stanley attachments if a situation were to arise. The drain cap is an uncommon yet useful feature if you are using the vacuum to suck up liquid. Of course, you would need to remove the disposable filter bag. This small vacuum has great suction. For such a powerful vacuum, we were surprise how quiet it is. Also, it has a really long cord of 16 feet, which is uncommon and yet so convenient. Finally, the entire unit is surprisingly light, and we can easily carry it from place to place, even carrying it up and down stairs without a thought. The price of this unit is very reasonable given that it has so many features. Overall, it is truly a useful tool around the house and for the car whether one dabbles with do-it-yourself projects or not.

It has no problem with sucking all the wood and metal shavings from my husband's projects. It collects all the liquid spills really well too. Small accessories are great for vacuuming a car. It has a place to stick all the accessories on top of the wheels so they don't go missing. I only wish there were a way to keep the hose with the handle on it too. It is a great and helpful tool thats a homeowner must have!

I am so glad I chose this Stanley! It’s perfect! The size is great, super portable (I can carry it around while I suck up cobwebs in the garage) and it has great accessories included. I was slightly confused about the dry bag and how to install it but I figured it out (it goes completely over the inside tube vs the instructions made it seem like it slides into a ‘holder’). One huge benefit is the ability to either ‘suck’ or ‘blow’. Blowing is super helpful! I was able to blow out filters and dust out of my other vacuums (you will not believe how much dust is in those stick vacuums!). Great product and seems very durable. Haven’t used the ‘wet’ vac option yet, but plan to use it next spring when I wash my three seasons room. I typically let it air dry but it takes forever, so being able to suck the water in will help expedite the process!
