A: YES - Just make sure to "pair" each of them separately / one at a time. It might also help to perform the initial set up with each droid in separate rooms - the first time, just to be sure. Then they should work fine side by side.

Great design, until you turn it on. The toy hardly ever stays up right. Very hard to drive falling over. The animatronics move correctly but that is where everything stops. This toy does NOT make the movie accurate sounds. It only beeps and boops. It does not speak or even make noises like it did in the Movie. It is VERY expensive for it not to do anything like that. Crummy toy, do not waste your money.

My son purchased this with his own money. It worked for about 3 months. Then wouldn't follow the directions the app gave it. We deleted the app and reinstalled, didn't work. Now we are outside of our return window and can't get our money back. My friend had a similar experience. Would not purchase again.

This is a great toy but it has its ups and downs. I only paid 44.99 plus tax and shipping for mine and it is 100% worth that price anything higher and it is not. D.O. will stand on his own and move about falling over on occasion but fall over more when I control him. On his own he moved about the house interacting with my dogs in an almost alive manner. Once again great for my price and not the retail.

Do not buy this unless you like seeing your kids cry. This thing was barely able to stay standing up even on a flat smooth surface. I was hoping for the cost it would work well. Alas, it was returned same day.
Driving the droid tipped him (again on smooth hard flat surface). Playing Find the Ball tipped him. Making him do actions tipped him. Looking at him tipped him. He’s cute but that’s about it. He likes laying down.

So close but so far away

I loved it I totally but even though we have hard smooth floors in our home...there was no help to be had. Poor D-O couldn’t stay up right. Even if I had him standing still, if I touched one of the emotion options (which mind you are pre-programmed in it), one of those would knock him over from a standstill!! He’s adorable and so cute but I couldn’t justify such an expensive table droid...especially when in the cradle he can’t even do the simple emotions!
I even went so far as to call Hasbro to see if they had something in the works to rectify the problem, hopeful I could keep him and something would fix him eventually, but they said nothing was being planned with these any time soon. So back to the store it went. I do think they have a great product, but it was rushed to beat the holiday season.

Got this for my husband thinking it would be a neat to as he's a Star Wars buff, he got frustrated with it a few minutes after trying is as it falls over constantly, then was bummed as the box was already thrown away so now he's bummed. The quality of it is good so it's fine as a display piece.

This toy had a lot of potential to be great, but it just falls over so easily it’s hard to enjoy. You will be picking it up every 10 seconds unless you control it manually, slowly, and on a hard surface. It can follow or find the ball about half the time. It runs into walls, etc. and falls over all on its own if it moves its head too fast.
Seems like it was a challenging product to develop, and they just didn’t put enough time in to make it good enough. Too bad. I hate taking something out of the box, using it, then returning it, but I just have to for this one, I’m surprised this made it to store shelves like this.
Battery life is great and my kids love the personality. App was all right, some modes were confusing.

Looks awesome...performs like garbage. Played with the settings and even just in a hang out mode, it would fall over after a minute or two. Really good going forward and backwards...not even the Force help you if you want it to turn...

I do not know what other people are playing with but this thing falls over no matter what you do. Do a simple search on YouTube and watch people unbox and try to play with this. If you try to turn the droid he just falls over. There is no center of balance while turning. Sure he will go forward and back but that is it. We tried to get this to work and returned him after a few frustrating hours.

This is pretty lame, doesn’t do much, bad app and worth about $29, definitely not $100, we will be returning it. Had potential, looks great, but very limited in what it can do -makes a few sounds (no talking/English) it can find the ball, and operate as remote control and go straight but with very little control in turning.

This was intended for my son, who is 7 years old and loves Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, he loves it, plays with it often and wishes he could nonstop, but he can't. Because it's MINE. He got his love of the series from me, who has been wanting my own personal droid for over 20 years, and this admiration was passed down from my father. Being able to make this little dude zip all over the house, confuse the dog, run over toes... these are the things dreams are made of. I've had no issues getting it to run from tile, wood, and area rugs. It beats the typical RC cars at their own game with maneuverability, and it's a good thing since neither myself nor my son give a hoot about those. Next on the agenda is finding a BB-8 to race with. The first thing that I appreciate about the product out of the box was the overall look of the droid. It has spots that are designed to make it look weathered. It really adds to the overall look and “personality” of the product itself. It comes with a small sphere that you can use with the app to play games with your droid. I really liked (from a minimal waste point of view) that the charging base is built into the packaging. You simply lift off the top of your box and the droid is already in the base. There is an app you must download to your phone or tablet. It allows you to play games and have more interaction with the droid. Games include “Hot and Cold” wich is essentially the droid searching for the sphere, as he gets closer you mark him as being “Hot, or cold” until he locates it. There’s also a guessing game where you try to guess his “expressions”. It’s a cool little gadget that really does an exceptional job at showing a “personality”. I really loved the fact that it stays in motion, it’s either slightly moving back and forth at all times, or making small movements with its head. It’s almost as fun to see how seamlessly that’s done as plying with the droid itself. The downside to this product is that it does lose stability unless on a harder surface. On rugs it did have a tendency to lose balance and tip over pretty frequently, that being said it works excellent on harder surfaces and for me wasn’t a deal breaker at all because I felt that the other features more than made up for it. My son (and my husband) love to play with this! The quality is really good and seems very well made. Definitely works best on a hard, flat surface -I don't know if I would recommend using on carpet, as the balance isn't extremely stable. There is also an app available that controls the device, which is an awesome feature. I would recommend this item to anyone that is a StarWars fan- or anyone that likes remote control toys. My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with this toy. We all love Star Wars in my house so this was an awesome addition to our collection. It is fun watching my younger ones chase it around while my older ones steer it along. Setting it up was really straight forward and easy, but we did learn that we needed our surface to be completely flat in order for it to roll properly.
