I purchased a $25 Starbucks gift card in store as a gift for a friend. I sent it in the mail to her and when she took it to Starbucks to use it, they said there was nothing on the card. I went into Target (with the card and the receipt), spoke to a manager, they said they don't "activate" cards anymore-so it isn't that it wasn't activated. My card didnt match the gift card on the receipt. They gave me a phone number to call Target Gift card services...since it is a "third party card", they supposedly can't do anything. For $25, Target says they can't do anything. So now I am waiting for 7-10 days to see what their research department has to say about it. Folks, they are stealing money. I spent $25 on a product at Target, and they won't give me the product. The manager advised that you shouldn't buy third party gift cards at Target because they can't fix the problem of it being tampered with. I will for surely be spending less at this scam of a store. Definitely won't be buying gift cards at Target anymore with no protection of my purchase.

Watch Out PSA
Watch out, if you purchase this gift card (or any gift card that is not Target) there might be a chance of it not working. If that’s the case, you are out of luck because Target will not replace because it is not their card and the store/online will not replace because it is not their card either.

Lousy Customer Service and NO Follow Through as promised!
