Yuck
So so bitter! I brewed it as a double and it’s not good at all. Just tastes bitter and burnt. And I just cleaned my machine last week. So, it’s definitely the coffee.

It was okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The French roast tastes really bitter, it tastes kind of like an Espresso roast. I noticed if I put a tiny bit of sugar in it it’s more tolerable. Overall it’s okay but i wouldn’t consider it my new favorite.

Bold and Just Right
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes I find the need for a darker stronger coffee to start the day and this Starbucks by Nespresso French Roast fit the bill. While some dark roast coffees can taste bitter, I found this one to hold its intensity while being smooth on the taste buds. This coffee was very enjoyable and easily stood up to my iced coffee recipe without being watered down. It produced a nice crema and was delicious and very enjoyable. I received this as a #freesample but would definitely buy it as my routine coffee.

Good flavor, but excessive crema?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised when brewing this how much crema it made. Literally 2/3 of my cup was filled with crema foam. Stirring it in to the actual coffee helped some, but it was still way too much overall. Tried again two more times, same thing. So strange. The flavor itself was good despite being the highest rating of darkness. #ad #freesample
