Coffee of Memories
I recently purchased your Espresso Roast Keurig Pods.. A little pricey, yet beautifully packaged. As I lifted the package up to inspect, two silver foxes in the aisle beside me let me know that the coffee I held in my hands tastes burnt. Burnt? Intriguing. My craving now overtook the price. It’s true, the coffee is burnt and strong. I take mine with a teaspoon of half n half. The aroma is something of dreams. It’s been motivating me to wake up early with each day, and allow myself to enjoy a cup of Espresso Roast. When my mother smelled my morning brew, she questioned if I was burning something. I laughed, remembering the ladies from the store. Now, this is where my problem begins. This brew may not be burning my mouth, nor my nose, but it is roasting my large intestine. I have consumed a lot of coffee, and never in my life have I encountered one that burns through my body before I’ve even gotten to breakfast. It doesn’t end there. All day I will be in and out of the bathroom, suffering from the decisions of my morning. I hadn’t figured out the coffee was my enemy in disguise. Coffee is in my regular routine. The bread to my butter. The lighter to my cigarette. I didn’t accept what the truth could be. I suspected I was suffering from a stomach bug. However, I realized today, as my sensitive area BLEEDS in punishment, this coffee is a laxative in disguise. This mornings cup was actually the last of my supply. My time with this brew has come to an end, but the memories will remain.

Compare to the same brand French Roast, you get less amount of coffee ground, much less body, much less smell and taste. The only pro is it is not as bitter as the French Roast. I would not buy again.

Dreams do come true!
I have been waiting many years for this magical day! I've always brewed a about 4 cups worth of Starbucks Espresso Roast for our family's morning cups of coffee in our coffee maker. When my spouse stopped drinking caffeine and ordered a keurig machine for his new decaf k-cups, it didn't see worth it having both a large coffee maker and a k-cup brewer. I searched high and low for Starbucks Espresso Roast k-cups. None to be found for the Keurig. I tried a Nespresso machine and Espresso Roast pods, but they would only brew a small shot, which was not enough to fill my mug. I then switched to a french press, which was manageable, but still work to boil water and wait for the roast to steep. While at Target yesterday, I happened to look up at the k-cup section and there it was! Starbucks Espresso Roast k-cups! I almost did cartwheels down the aisle! First try of the k-cup this morning and it was perfect! Perfect amount and strength for my mug! Please never ever discontinue this magical product!

It has a really great flavor and I live making me a cup of it when I wake up in the morning. The bold flavor is perfect without being too strong to drink. Some Espresso flavors are too bitter, but this one has a great balance of bold and smooth. I would definitely recommend to anyone that loves espresso!

I love the dark roast flavor, it’s bold and smooth with just enough sweetness that I don’t need to add any flavoring or creamer to it. I do love adding a few ice cubes to make it iced coffee some days but goes great any way I make it. It makes it so easy and quick to make a great coffee!

I had to use a lot more milk than I normally would to enjoy this cup. It was better for iced coffee than hot coffee.
