I bought multiple physical cards to give as gifts but I had to open them out of the paper packing it came with because the cards don't say amount on them!! I had to open them up as customer service couldn't tell me which card had $25 and which card had $50 on it! Had to open them up on look on starbucks website for balance. I read from other reviews that digital cards can only can go to youself! you can't gift those.

The e-card shows up within a couple hours after purchase. They recently updated it so you can easily add it to your sbux app with the details prepopulated (no longer have to manually type - or copy/paste the code). The quickest my card has arrived via email was about 30 minutes after purchase (but usually plan for 2 hours). Haven’t had any issues of it going to spam. If you have the Redcard, it’s a great way to save 5%.

I order a gift card from target every time I need a reload on my Starbucks app. Love getting the 5% off with my target card. Easily applies to my Starbucks app. Sometimes it takes a bit for the email with the card to come through, but it always does.

Peoples reviews on here that are negative are sad. I keep buying these with my Target card even cause I get 5% off. It’s easy and I transfer the funds to my app. You can then send a gift card via the Starbucks app too however I use this to get a discount. Anyways...if you have the target card get the gift card and save some money towards Starbucks!

The best deal ever. So easy to buy and receive Starbucks gift cards through Target.com. On average, it takes less than four hours to get the gift card and then you can keep it for yourself, or transfer it to someone else. If you have a Target Red Card, the 5% off is a no-brainer.
