Description

Starface Hydro-Star® Recovery Patches are hydrocolloid patches that help soothe, protect, and heal skin that’s dry, flaky, or freshly picked. Aloe vera, vitamin A, and licorice root work together to encourage cell turnover and help reduce the look of scars.

When picking, popping, or flaking happens, put a star on your spot to keep the area protected and promote skin recovery while looking cute. Repeat as needed for soft and happy skin through the healing process.

Take your stars everywhere you go with Big Yellow, a reusable, mirrored compact (sold separately) that holds your stars for easy application and storage.

    These patches seem to get he job done

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster for sending me this product to try and review! This is my first time trying Starface brand patches. I had a big pimple and I used my regular pimple patches to drain it for about 2 days. After the draining was done and it was drying up, I used 9 patches of these Starface patches over the course of 2 weeks on the same spot. Results: After the 4th patch, the scarring appears to be getting a little lighter. There is no discomfort and the spot is very smooth even after having the patch off for a couple hours. I will continue to use these patches to really see the full effect of the product, but so far, it seems to be really helping my pimple scar recover.

    Subpar

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried like every other blemish patch on the market, it was due time I tried out Starface. These patches definitely feel short of the mark for me. Yes, they are cute. I can imagine some tween/teens being stoked to use these. I on the other hand am a woman in my thirties that hates subpar products. The star design really doesn’t stick well, every edge tries to pull back up. Don’t even think of sleeping with them on, they just wind up on a pillow or in your hair. These are also startlingly purple. There is absolutely no way to hide that you are wearing them like you could with any other blemish patch. Mostly I pop them on in the mornings when I am home alone and remove what hasn’t fallen off before my husbands shift is over. Not a fan, will not purchase.

They work very well for the tail end of a breakout or for skin that has been freshly picked. I love how they absorb fluid. They seem to really help the look of lingering marks or scars. The shape of the sticker is perfect for those weird breakout spots on your skin.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does seem to work, BUT maybe not enough product on each star? Really easy to use. Of course you need to make sure your face is clean and dry. I popped a pimple, cleaned my face and patted dry, then applied the star and left on overnight. When I woke up, I replaced with a new star and took it off a few hours later. My pimple didn’t feel or look irritated! Again, if I had a bigger pimple, I am not sure each star has enough product on it. So for a quick item to pack on the go for a trip, I’d recommend!

    Pimple patch

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these at the sight of a pimple. If you have nails like me be careful peeling it off or you can possibly mess up the adhesive and the patch. I use these normally at night and after a pimple is popped to get the extra gunk out.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pimple recovery patches are amazing. I put one on my healing pimple last night and it already looks less inflamed. They are durable but you definitely have to make sure you have nothing on your face otherwise they will not stick well, which is my fault. I like the design of these patches, they are so cute. I wouldn’t wear them out in public though just overnight lol.

    Just Okay for Acne Recovery

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These patches were just okay - I did not notice a huge improvement in a recent post acne mark after trying these out overnight for several nights in a row. Although I think it is protective and is good if you are on the go, I don’t think it’s as effective as my other skin care for healing post acne marks. It is a nice pack to take with you since it is small and you can take out the individual 4 packs without taking the whole box. I will likely continue to test these and add to my travel bag in case I need some skin recovery while travelling.

While the boxing is cute and I do use other types of patches by this brand and they work really well for me, this one did not seem to work as well. I was fearful to use so many patches one day after the next for many days as to irritate my skin, but I did not see much of a difference after three days of use. That doesn’t mean that if I wore them for a week or more, they would not work better. I’m going to continue to give these a chance.

They help soothe my skin and keep me from touching the area too much. My only complaint is that they don’t always stay on very well especially overnight. Also they’re a little thick.     Won’t stay stuck

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this brand and I was excited about the extra ingredients to help my skin, but these just don’t stay on. Especially the purple ones. And they don’t absorb as much gunk either. I regret buying the recovery and tea tree oil pimple patches and wish I had spent my money on the original stars. I think the purple recovery patches are a great idea, but maybe they should be a little bigger with the extra ingredients concentrated in the middle so the outline actually sticks to your skin

I especially like using them after I've already picked at something because they keep it covered and protected while it heals. They stay on really well, even overnight, and I love that they're cute. I've used plenty of regular hydrocolloid patches, but the little purple stars make these way more fun to wear. I'd definitely use these again!

This side of my nose had a really big painful pimple and I was able to shrink it significantly with these. It definitely reduced any scar I would have had. My only issue was it was a tiny bit drying afterwards. But overall they’re very sticky and a good size.
