Hero Cosmetics Mighty Shield Liquid Patch Invisible Blemish Protectant - 10ml

Really wished this worked better and I love the idea and wish the execution was better. However, when you blend out makeup even when working gently it leave a clearly visible ring where the patch was applied, if it sticks past the initial application, and the product peels up less than 5 minutes later. I've been trying to work with it for the past couple weeks and haven't gotten it to sit beyond application. Even on its the product on its own, which is the only way it sticks, is quite shiny and visible which just highlight the acne. I would just stick to traditional pimple patches and the invisible patches by might patch are much better for a less visible patch and for under makeup.

Hate this. Doesn’t work under makeup, it’s a lie, I would rather wear the patches. This stuff SUCKS!

It’s decent. I think the price is a bit steep for how much you get personally. That said it does cover the acne and is almost like a peel off mask. I do wish the formula was a bit thicker though because it’s a little hard to apply. I haven’t tried it under makeup as I don’t really wear foundation on the regular. I would probably buy it again, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.

This stuff is awesome!!! Secret tip! Wear it at night and it will dry out a breakout and keep it clean! And as far as under it under makeup you gotta do the TINNIEST amount and so thin or else it won’t blend in as well!

I love the concept of this product, and appreciate the fact that I can wear makeup and not be harming my breakouts! However, it does look a little weird under the makeup and the edges of it pull up a bit and look like dry, flaking skin, which is more accentuated with makeup. Also, not as easy to peel off as they say- I had to just wash with a cotton round rather than peeling. It’s better than nothing, but not perfect by any means.

Have tried it a few times, and haven’t noticed a difference. The patches work better for me. At night, the formula stayed put but didn’t extract anything. When I had it under my skin care, it immediately started peeling and didn’t last the day.

This product doesn’t work if you plan on touching it even a little bit. As soon as I tried putting some foundation over it it was peeling around the edges and looked kind of horrific. I used the tiniest little bit and let it dry for over ten minutes. I ended up just peeling it all off.

The advertisements for this product said it “blended seamlessly under makeup” but this could NOT be further from the truth. You’d be better off wearing a normal pimple patch because this makes it stick out like a sore thumb

This was really useful for a hairline breakout I was experiencing so that I could still wear concealer at work. Make sure you use a thin layer like it says as it gets a shiny, almost plastic look to it (even with makeup on top). It does create a shield so that I did not have to deal with makeup angering my breakout further.

This product is terrible. Cannot be worn under makeup at all. Peels up immediately and burns your skin due to the alcohol in it.

Doesn’t work under makeup as described. Tried it for the first time. It dries fast but trying to put makeup over it does not work. Within 20 min my friend was asking about the peeling on my face…

Tried this 4 or 5 times under different makeup and skincare and it peeled quickly each time. starts to peel the makeup off and appears patchy and gross like a skin problem. I will be trying to return ASAP.

I have attempted to use this for 3 days now on a spot in the crease of my nose and it has lifted before I have even made it to work. And yes, I let it dry for 2-3 mins before applying lotion or makeup. I have tested on a smooth spot on my face and seems fine, but seems unusable on any spaces with a crease or movement.

Buy it! Best solution for my skin picking problems I’ve tried!

This didn’t look seamless with my makeup at all. You could clearly see where I had applied the product below my makeup and as the day went on it just got more and more obvious. Plus the edges started lifting soon after I applied my makeup and it looked worse than it if I had just covered my acne without this product. This new Mighty Shield invisible blemish protectant literally comes out as a liquid(pictures attached below), and turns into a pimple patch! This product was made specifically to help protect and smooth your pimples as you layer on skincare, makeup, or sunscreen, and also shield it from dirt and bacteria. I haven’t tried this liquid patch under makeup, but I did apply this liquid patch on a pimple before I used a tinted sunscreen by hero, and the patch was invisible on the skin(so invisible that after 7 hours I had to find an edge to lift it off!).
