Q: Can you use they patches on the skin on your upper lip? I have a pimple fairly close to my lip but on the skin above it. It says not to put these on your lips.

Based on the product's guidelines, it is not recommended to use these patches on the skin directly above your upper lip. While the warning specifically mentions "DO NOT APPLY TO EYES, LIP, OR MOUTH," the close proximity of that area to your lip and mouth means there's a risk of accidental contact. The skin in that region can also be quite sensitive. For the safety and comfort of your skin, we advise against using the patch in that specific location.

    Niacinamide reduces dark marks

    As a professional licensed esthetician I love these blemish patches, the niacinamide helps to prevent dark marks, the different sizes of the patches help to keep from infusing product to areas of the skin that doesn’t need it, and the clearness of the patches makes them more discrete if worn outside of the home. I can place a patch on a pimple at night and by morning it has come to a head and I won’t have to do much to extract the sebum or other particles out….definitely a staple in an emergency pimple routine

    These patches are super easy to use and stay on over night while sleeping. If you had to use them during the day you could! They literally blend right into your skin! They really kickstart blemishes to go away.

    CeraVe Blemish Barrier Patches

    I received this product for free from Influenster and CeraVe in exchange for my honest review. The smartphone is a great way to keep in touch with loved ones and homies, but its camera is more foe than friend. Say hello to every pore, imperfection, and that night last week when you slept in your makeup! Plus, I am always on the lookout for ways to handle sudden breakouts without destroying my skin barrier, so I was especially excited to get the opportunity to test out the Blemish Barrier Patches by CeraVe. What you get: 22 circular “patches” in two sizes, the larger of which is shown in photo (perhaps between nickel and dime-size) What sets these apart from ordinary blemish patches is that they are infused with ceramides and niacinamide. Both ceramides and niacinamide contribute to strengthening the skin barrier. Niacinamide helps control oil and shrink pore size. Plus, instead of simply pulling out impurities from under the skin, the patches also soothe the redness and keep the skin feeling hydrated while it heals. My experience wearing the patches is that they are exceptionally thin and tapered at the edges, allowing for a near invisible fit to the skin. I didn’t even remember they were there. You can easily wear them during the day or overnight comfortably. I experienced no pain upon removal. After finishing nearly the whole box I can definitely say that the patches perform better than other similar products I’ve tried in the past.

    These blemish patches pulled out the buildup from my pimple without any painful popping-I’m genuinely impressed!

    I was genuinely impressed by these blemish patches. I applied one to a pimple in the morning and left it on throughout the day. By the time I removed it, I could actually see all the buildup the patch had absorbed. It helped flatten the blemish without me having to pop it, which meant less irritation and no extra pain. The patch stayed in place comfortably all day, was barely noticeable, and was easy to remove. I love that it made treating a breakout so simple while helping me avoid picking at my skin. I’ll definitely keep these on hand for future breakouts and would recommend them to anyone looking for an effective, mess-free, spot treatment.

    Stay on all night without peeling

    I’ve been using these CeraVe Blemish Barrier Patches for a few days, and honestly they’ve worked really well for me. They stay on all night without peeling off, and by the morning my pimples look less red and much flatter. I also like that they stop me from touching or picking at my skin, which helps prevent marks afterward. They’re super thin, almost invisible, and comfortable to wear.
