After using Rescue Balm + Red Correct, I found that it did help reduce the appearance of redness and discoloration while it was on my skin. The color-correcting effect provided a more even-looking complexion without feeling heavy or irritating. I also really liked the packaging, which was easy to use and convenient for daily application. One of the biggest positives for me was that it did not cause any irritation or sensitivity, which can be a concern with skincare products designed to address redness. While I was pleased with the immediate results, I did not notice any significant long-term changes in my skin’s redness or discoloration after continued use. Because of that, I feel this product works best as a temporary solution for improving the appearance of redness rather than providing lasting improvement. Overall, I would give Rescue Balm + Red Correct 3 out of 5 stars. It performs well, is gentle on the skin, and offers visible short-term redness correction, but I did not experience the long-term results I was hoping for.

Especially bad around my nose and chin. This does cover it really well! It is much thicker than I expected though and harder to spread around so when you're covering your whole face it does use a lot of product. It lasts a long time but also did start making my face feel oily and look a bit shiny. I think its a good option to work into a routine and it didn't cause any breakouts or flare ups for me personally. Thanks to the stellar product testing panel for letting me test this out!

I have a lot of red spots on my face from past acne that I obviously don't love, but I'm also not much of a makeup girly in terms of concealer or foundation so this was right up my alley! It goes on super smooth and you can literally see it blending into your skins complexion so smoothly. I used this to feel more confident when going out and it was so simple, quick and effective! I have sensitive, break out prone skin and rarely wear anything other than my basic skin care products. This Rescue Balm + Red Correct has earned a spot in my lineup. It did not cause any irritation, gave light coverage to irritated spots, and blended really nicely to give coverage to my red areas around my nose and cheeks. Over the last few weeks I’ve been out in the sun more and it has been great as I’ve had color changes due to sun exposure too.

I am wowed by this color- correcting green cream. I have tried several over the years and this one truly works by of course leaving your skin with the color correcting which is beautiful for no makeup days, but after you remove it your skin overall looks better. I use this on blemishes in place of concealer on full makeup days and it conceals and heals. This is a true must have that blends perfectly to your shade match! Application is super easy, just dab it on the problem areas and let it do its thing. Results show up pretty quickly, redness starts fading within a couple days of regular use . Texture is smooth and creamy, feels nice on sensitive skin without causing any irritation. Already noticed my skin looks calmer and less inflamed since I started using it a lot. Formula seems gentle which I appreciate since my skin is really reactive and sensitive. Color correction works better than I expected honestly, conceals redness nicely without looking cakey. Doesn't have a strong scent which is nice for sensitive faces . Absorbs well without leaving your skin feeling greasy or weighed down. Perfect for anyone dealing with redness or irritation issues. It was ok, I didn't find that it helped with the redness much. I also didn't like how it made my face feel, where ever on my face I used that spot felt off. I usually do a face lotion and my face feels smooth after, but when I used the rescue balm, the particular spot I put it on felt stiff. It was not right for me,but it probably works better for someone else

The texture is light on my skin and blends well. I do notice subtle improvements to the redness left from acne flare ups. Nothing dramatic or amazing, though. Definitely not a product for “coverage” like foundation.

It's made me feel like I have to do a full face of makeup every day just to attempt to hide them. I'm not very experienced with makeup and I don't have a lot of time to spend on it, so I desperately wanted something I could slap on quickly and not have to think about. This fits the bill. It doesn't take long at all to blend in, it stays put, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated instead of dry or cakey, and it hasn't caused any breakouts! I have combination skin and have tried this on both oily and dry parts of my skin, and as long as I wash my face before applying it works on both types. I suffer from rosacea on my cheeks so am always looking for a good color corrector. This worked pretty well to cover my redness and is a good option for days when I don’t want a full face of makeup but want to cover up my redness a little. In my attached picture I used this on half of my face so you can see the difference it makes. I haven’t had any breakouts lately to test this on acne but I think it would do a good job covering based on how it worked on my usual redness. Overall a decent product but if you’re looking for full coverage this probably isn’t the best option. The tube is pretty small, too, so you probably wouldn’t want to use this every day as it wouldn’t last very long.

It used to be one of my go-to complexion products for quickly calming redness and evening out my skin tone without needing a full face of makeup. Unfortunately, after opening my new tube, I immediately noticed the formula seemed completely different from the version I had used before. The texture looked and felt different, with much lower pigmentation and coverage than the original. The product also seemed noticeably stickier and had a warmer, more orange-toned finish on my skin instead of the more natural color correction I was used to. I still appreciate the idea behind the product and how easy it is to apply, but I was disappointed because the previous formula worked much better for my skin tone and redness concerns. If you are new to the product, you may still enjoy it, but longtime users will likely notice the change right away.

I’ve been getting acne on my chest so I decided to try it on there because that’s where I had most of my blemishes. The product did a great job at reducing the redness. The product starts out green but blends seamlessly into my skin. The blemish marks are not totally gone after using this product, but you can see a significant improvement. The product is a little sticky after applying and does rub off if touched so just be careful about that. Otherwise it is a good option for reducing redness!

It takes seconds to apply and the texture of the product feels really smooth on the skin. The product blends seamlessly into the skin, erasing the remnants of the blemish. The color of the product does a great job of covering the redness and then you can apply makeup on top of it. I only wish that less of the product was required to cover the spots because I had to apply a couple layers - but overall I am very happy with the results and am looking forward to adding this into my daily routine whenever I have red spots to cover on my face!

This genuinely melted into my skin. As someone who gets acne on their jaw line, this product really helped me after I popped my pimples and needed them covered. I love the lightness of the cream. I struggle with Rosacea on my nose and cheeks, as well as some broken capillaries and occasional hormonal acne. I'm in my late 30s and have tried a lot of products at this point. I hate wearing a full face of foundation, so most of the time I just live with my face always being red. Let me tell you, Rescue Balm actually works! Within 30 seconds of applying a thin layer the redness is so much less than baseline. It doesn't fully go away, and I'm fine with that - it takes the edge off so I don't look sunburned or flushed in every Zoom meeting I attend or every photo with my kids. The before and after photo included here shows me sitting in the exact same spot in the same lighting about two minutes apart, before and after application. Look at the difference! I do have to reapply every few hours to get all day lasting effects. But, that isn't the end of the world. I'm just so glad to have something that lessens my rosacea and red spots without caking on foundation all the time. The directions say to cleanse and dry the skin, before applying to the area once daily. Then, after application, blend to activate the color-correcting powers. When first applied, the product is green, which helps to counteract redness in the skin. Once blended, the color matched my skin tone perfectly. I was so impressed with the light and subtle, creamy finish it left behind. I enjoy using this product as a foundation when going for a more natural make up look. This product did a nice job of toning down the redness in my skin without looking cakey.
