It helps improve the appearance of post-blemish marks and redness! It feels gentle on my skin, applies smoothly, and absorbs quickly. You can wear it alone or underneath your makeup. It has really improved the look of my skin areas that get red. I love that. This is a new lower price with more coverage and more of a matte finish.

This stuff works like it says on the new packaging. It has a fab matte finish that provides more coverage and works perfectly under makeup and neutralizes redness. A little bit goes a long way, so even with the lowered price, you get more for the money! This is like a foundation for under your foundation, but only for those stubborn red areas. It mutes the redness and corrects the color to blend with your skin tone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a woman in her mid thirties who doesn’t wear a full face of makeup and still gets occasional blemishes, I was excited to be chosen to test this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My initial observation is that I liked that this product has no fragrance. It has a thinner consistency to other color correcting products I’ve used in the past and the initial application is relatively smooth. Unfortunately, I don’t think the product was a good fit for my skin type. It appeared to look caked on as I felt I needed to apply quite a bit to make a noticeable difference in color of the area, then seemed to be gone within 10 minutes like I had never applied it. I would not write the Rescue Balm +Red Correct off completely because skin type could be a factor in my lackluster experience, but I personally will not be using this product moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fair tone of skin and often I get red post-acne marks that are difficult to cover and regular makeup doesn’t always stay in place or provide enough coverage. With this Rescue Balm, I only need a very small amount. A thin layer blends easily and noticeably reduces the redness right away. For more noticeable spots, I can add a tiny bit of makeup on top, but much less than I would normally use. It helps create a more natural look without piling on product.One thing I really like its that the color blended surprisingly well with my skin tone. After applying I couldn’t see any difference between the product and my natural skin. It also has a slightly tacky finish which actually helps makeup stay in place all the day.A little goes a long way, so I think this tube will last quite a while. The packaging also makes it easy to dispense just the right amount without wasting product. This rescue balm does exactly what I wanted it to do: reduce the appearance of redness and make spot coverage much easier. And I love it! The green balm!!! This balm is great the hydration is off the charts. Can not complain,a little on the thick side but I take that. Love. I trust hero products I know I get quality. .

I didn't have any active redness when AI tried this product, but it felt lightweight when I put it on to try it out. The green color going on was jarring, but it blended for me as I lightly rubbed it in. I have olive toned skin so it did not take much to blend it in.

The texture is nice and may make a great makeup primer, but for redness not so much. The green changing to a neutral color seems like a gimmick.
