Touch controls
Bought this for my girlfriend after reading reviews and seeing other similar devices online. Unfortunately we could not get it to work consistently. The touch or touch-less controls seemed to have a mind of their own. We could not get the device to reliably power on. At one point it did respond to our touch and stayed on only to turn off a few moments later. If we hovered a finger over the controls it would turn on and off or change the timer but not stay on one. Very annoying, never got to see a single bug in the trap. Also the fan seemed pretty weak when it was on. It says there's 2 speeds but couldn't get the speed to change with the controls. If this had physical buttons it would probably be fine, but the top control surface just didn't work for us. Bummer!

Surprisingly effective for annoying flying bugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Stem Flying Insects Fan Trap for a while now. I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. Is super simple to set up, just turn it on and let it do its thing. The fan quietly pulls in flying insects. They get stuck on the sticky adhesive inside.

This thing is a beast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trap is a beast!!! It performed more than I expected it to, and it covered an entire living room with just one of these traps. The design of it is sleek, almost like it’s part of the decor and it didn’t weigh as much as I thought.

It’s an okay product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is not that bad . It works when attracting some bugs but it is a little harder to actually get them to go inside and stick to the sticky trap. Works great for moths but have to use bait for the fruit flies but overall the product is not that bad .

No need for a fly swat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flying insect Fan Trap is about the size of an essential oil diffuser. It’s very light weight and sounds slightly softer than a portable air purifying system. It has three time limits 3,8, and 12 which are typically great for summer events or just keeping your door and windows open all day. It did manage to snag a few flies, but it for sure caught other flying insects. I would say it’s safe enough to leave around children and pets. It’s perfect on a back patio and saves you time, money, and energy swatting all day.

Easy to use, no mess
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stem flying insects fan trap is easy to use and place wherever you need it most although it did not do a great job catching my fruit flies and small gnats in my home.

As promised!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These days, there isn’t a lot of “truth” telling in advertisements. However, you will not be disappointed if you’re looking for toxic free insect control! STEM did it again with this insect fan trap that works like a charm. It doesn’t hold a charge as long as I would like, but when it’s working, it’s working!

Catching bugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked really well, but was hard to tell if it worked well outside because I put it inside next to the front door. The maintenance for it is easy and the value for the money is great, but don’t have a high durability and effective rate of capturing all that it needs to. It is portable which is a plus but has to be plugged in to work.

Works, slowly but it definitely works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kinda neat little contraption but took weeks to battle these freaking fruit flies 🤦🏻♀️ Easy setup, there were bodies in the bottom so obviously it works and no ugly sticky things hanging all over the place .

Decent bug trap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in my laundry room where all the bugs fly in when we open the door and it did attract them for sure! It wasn’t a loud noise but it did irritate my dog for some reason. That is the only thing about it! He kept barking at it. So I easily moved it to another room and it was good!!

Pretty decent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for camping. I like it. It’s pretty durable. I keep it in the back of my Asia in a cargo box and it’s going good. Had it about 2 months. I am getting a second one for the house that can stay outside

Does not work well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly do not see a huge difference when it is on. I still see bugs and mosquitoes and flyers flying around the house with this on. I would not repurchase

Pretty effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to try this in hopes it would help my little gnat issue. It wasn't a quick fix, but something that has seemed to help over time. I feel like I have to keep it plugged in and running. I keep it in the kitchen and will still catch a gnat or 2 flying by in the living room. I do like the fact it catches more than just gnats!! One downside is that sometimes the gnat won't get completely stuck on the sticky part. So if you open it up, it will fly out. I try to open slowly to avoid any escaping!! Thanks to #influenster and #stem for allowing me to try this product. @influenster @stem

Great for summertime use, and bugs are out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device is simple to set up. It comes with its own output plug. It has a silent modem fan and light to help attract the insects. It also has a sticky attachment to attract the bugs and trap them. I don’t think it’s too bad for the cost.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The STEM Flying Insect Fan Trap is a quiet, chemical-free solution for catching flies and other flying bugs. It uses a light and gentle fan to attract and trap insects without zapping or sticky messes. It's great for use in kitchens, bedrooms, or patios. While it's most effective in smaller areas and works best in low light, it’s a safe and eco-friendly option—especially if you’re avoiding sprays. Some flies may still escape, but overall, it's a solid buy for reducing flying pests indoors.
