This should be taken off the shelves. It is not safe. The day I used this, it was so strong that it got in my nose and mouth. My tongue started feeling numb within minutes. The next day, I couldn't open my mouth right, then I couldn't eat or drink right, and the entire right side of my face started drooping. Doctor diagnosed me with Bell's Palsy. Never in my life have I had anything like this until I accidentally inhaled this spray. There's a dangerous chemical in there. Also, it KILLS PETS! Research it. It's so sad. To rid the fruit flies, buy some Green Gobbler Fruit Fly Drain liquid. Fruit flies live and reproduce in drains. Do every drain in the house at different times. Read instructions. This can also be very strong and not good for pets to be around, so be careful. Keep pets out of rooms when they're being treated. Also, use the Zevo Light Traps and Terro Apple Fruit Fly Traps. This trio will eradicate all the fruit flies!

We bought this to help keep the flying insects down on the porch after we scrubbed it down and it did not help a bit. I've tried 2 different kinds and both were useless didn't work

It definitely makes the outdoors more enjoyable in this summer heat! I also love that's it's safe to use around pets as I have 2 dogs. This will definitely be a repurchase!

Our products go through many quality checks to ensure they arrive to you in perfect condition, so this isn't something we'd expect to happen. We're glad you took the time to share your experience, and we're happy to share some tips on how to get the product to spray. If the product initially worked, sometimes the end of the sprayer can get clogged. Start by visually inspecting the end of the sprayer nozzle. If you see residual (white) product there, wipe it away with a paper towel that has been wet with warm water. If that doesn’t fix the issue, visually inspect the area where the blue top meets the bottle for a gap. If there is a large gap, the top might not be in the right position, which could be a manufacturing defect, leading to the product not spraying properly. Needs to have more fluid for the price. It wasn’t working well until I set a trap. I put used paper plates with some food on them into large garbage bags and left them open on the floor. The little jerks were having a party until I UNLEASHED ALL HECK ON THEM! Armed with the spray and an electric bug racket, I held the racket high and with the zapper on, ready for any flies that tried to escape through the air. I took the spray in my right hand and ARMAGEDDON! I sprayed with the fury of a thousand skunks! Flies were dropping, trying to walk away. Not today! It smells like a Christmas ham in here, but I think I’m well on my way to having my kitchen back!

It has a peppermint scent and we used it when our mangos attracted every fruit fly in a 20 mile radius. It is safe around kids which is the best part because Nugget loves to be underfoot no matter what we are doing. It killed the bugs and the spray wipes up nicely. Would recommend

The scent isnt too strong like regular bug sprays. The mint and rosemary blend well together creating a spray that isn't harsh on the nose, but very effective for killing unwanted bugs!

Well, i had a Gnat problem and bought this first, used it and got hives and went into anaphylactic shock, I didn’t get it on me when spraying it, made sure to wash my hands and arms after use but after a few hours even wiped things down yet I had hives for days and I didn’t even spray that much and it only went away after a deep deep cleaning of my house, I do not recommend to be using this when having pets and children, and yes, any bug killer would skin irritation to them I’ve used way harsher chemicals to kill bugs and I’ve never gone into hives like that, it didn’t even kill them but the zevo light was very effective and did not give me any sort of irritation so if you’re looking to buy something to get rid of bugs, I recommend that instead of this

I have had this product for 1 week, and it is almost gone. I bought it because it said kills on contact, but it does not kill on contact, I just about have to drown them in spray. It does smell good, but doesnt work like advertised.

I wasn't expecting it to work that great honestly. I've never used a product like this that wasn't harsh like other insecticides. But this definitely did the job. It sprays continuously and killed EVERY fly I sprayed on contact! I was so impressed. Then, it left a very pleasant scent behind, with NO residue. After the first spray, I was instantly hooked. I couldn't imagine using another spray after how good this worked. And it is safe to use around my dog which means the most, being able to keep him safe. It's also safe around people. This Zevo fly spray is perfect in every way. A+++

It has a strong herbal scent, which of course makes sense as the packaging states it uses rosemary and mint oils to kill flying insects. This is what makes it kid and pet friendly. It works okay, but there is a lot of overspray and it leaves an oily residue behind. I find it difficult to spray my moving target but that may just be me. It does seem to kill on contact, at least smaller flying insects. I don't think I'd recommend this, as it feels like a fly swatter is a less expensive, more effective option.

it dosent kill them instantly just makes them fall then you have to step on it yourself..the smell also gives you a headache and is very strong and lingers for a while
