A: Peppermint oil can cause infants to go into respiratory distress. It’s recommended to not use peppermint on or near children 2 yrs old and under. Hope that helps!

Says safer pets, but after reading some of the reviews, I found out that it's not safe for cats. I've sprayed it all over my house and now I am panicking. This is ridiculous. It needs to be advertised correctly.

Thanks for reaching out. We want to reassure you that this product is safe to use around pets, when used as directed. In some situations, peppermint could be harmful to animals at high doses (for example, ingested pure peppermint essential oil). However, our products contain 4% peppermint oil in the ready-to-use formula. Pets may not like the smell of the peppermint, but after it is applied, it is virtually impossible for them to be exposed to toxic levels. We recommend not to spray directly on pets or let them drink the liquid. Over 20 years of records, there have been few serious reactions reported to the Animal Poison Control Center to any peppermint product. The few incidents that did occur were associated with topical sprays, shampoos, or spot-on treatments. None of these incidents involved anything like our 4% mint area repellent sprays.

Doesn't work.
My bedroom window doesn’t have a screen because it opens outwards so we have a mosquito problem. We got this spray to repel and even kill them and it did none of those things.

It doesn't work on mosquitoes at all. I've been trying for days and have used half the bottle trying to spray all the mosquito-prone areas of our front porch and back deck. It doesn't even phase them. Pretty sure I can hear them laughing at me when I come with the bottle.

Doesn’t work. When you spray it on a spider it seems to bother it for a couple seconds then it just crawls off. I have tried it several times on a few spiders doesn’t work.

This works amazing as an on contact ant killer, killed ants immediately (haven’t tried on any other bugs). Strong smell, but I love peppermint so I thought it was refreshing! I used as a on contact killer, but did notice after it dried the few leftover ants walked right over it no problem. I wouldn’t use this as a deterrent over time.

We've had a bad ant problem this summer. It's never been an issue before this so this is the first indoor ant/bug spary that we've tried. It has a very strong smell that lingers for a couple of hours and then it's gone. Our ant problem has been in our kitchen on the wall, counter, and along an upstairs bathroom floor. We've noticed that either location still requires a reapply after a few days. It did drastically reduce the number of ants, but it's not a one and done situation it seems. My husband also used an outdoor spray to do a full yard coverage. I think the ants are just bad this year. Neither one has been fully effective. We have a toddler and a small dog so it's important to use to have something safe to use around both. That could also be a small factor of effectiveness.

I live in the south deep in the middle of the woods in the and always have bugs swarming the porch at night, especially when I turned the porch light on to take the dog out. Once a week I spray this on the floor of my covered porch, the front door and door frame, the porch columns and all around the sides of the base of the porch, and there are SOOOOOO MANY LESS BUGS. There are literally 95% less bugs hanging around the front door. They really don't like this stuff! I didn't want to use anything really noxious so I'm so glad this works
