Q: Does it kill stink bugs on contact?

submitted by Bea - 14 days ago

  • A: Great question! Raid® Max Perimeter Protection is a residual/barrier treatment, which means it will not kill stink bugs as quickly as some of our other products. However, Raid® Ant & Roach is a contact killer and may be a better fit for you. We hope this helps and you have a wonderful day! – Mindi, SC Johnson Consumer Care

Q: Can I use this on an ant trail to kill ants?

submitted by Carol - 1 month ago

  • A: Hi Carol! Because this product is regulated by the EPA, we can only recommend it be used as directed on the product’s packaging. We suggest spraying indoors or outdoors where insects crawl along floorboards, doors and window frames. However, Raid® Max Perimeter Protection is a residual/barrier treatment which means it will not kill as quickly as some of our other products. Have a great day! – Mindi, SC Johnson Consumer Care

Q: Does this kill fleas?

submitted by Alex brown - 1 year ago

  • A: Hey there Alex! Raid® Max Perimeter Protection does not eliminate pests as quickly as some of our other products because it is a residual/barrier treatment meant to prevent infestations. This spray will kill fleas shortly after they've come in contact with treated areas. To ensure you get the best results, we recommend using a combination of products following our Raid® Defense System (control, prevent and attack). We'd be more than pleased to assist you in finding a product that better suits your requirements! Please give our experts a call at 1-800-558-5252 (weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT) and provide reference number: 23004085. If you have box elder bugs, this stuff works!

If you have box elder bugs, this stuff works! We had them all over our front door this weekend to where we couldn't open the door without several flying inside. It took a two good treatments spraying down the side of the house, the front door and stairs and now the dozens of nasty box elder bugs are almost eliminated. There are a few tough guys that showed up today but all their buddies are on the ground dead. I resprayed and it's getting colder overnight, so hopefully we are good for the season. The premixed spray bottle makes applying easy. Didn't seem to stain the siding or have a bad odor either.

I tried the Raid Max Bug Barrier Protection and, overall, I thought it was just okay. It was easy to apply and convenient to use around areas where I noticed bugs, but I didn’t feel like the results were as impressive as I expected. It helped with some of the bug activity, but I still noticed a few afterward. I like the convenience of having a product like this around, but I would probably try another option before purchasing this one again.

Manufacturer Issue

Target curbside pickup always delivers 100%. I highly doubt the shopper/person realized a quarter of the bottle of spray was in the bottom of the shopping bag opposed to being in the spray bottle. I, myself didn't realize the issue until I was omw home & the cab of my vehicle reeked of a pungent chemical smell. The weeds will survive another day.....

This is my second time recieve ing theses items . I’m extremely happy that they packaged the items that could leak extremely well. But this was sealed a red and white tape at the nozzle and in pkg with black tie . I opened it and the tip of the nozzle was wet, tape soaked . The nozzle was very loose. So please when packing make sure lids are screwed on tight . I’m keeping the bottle because it didn’t leak that much. Please don’t take this as complaining. It’s just a little extra step to make sure chemicals don’t leak. Thank you. I worked in quality assurance, 30 years for IBM ,habits are hard to break. Thank you.

Does not work

Does not prevent bugs from coming back. Deep cleaned home and then sprayed product. By next day, bugs came back. Does not work at all. I even resprayed multiple times just to be sure, and it still did not work. Do not recommend.

Granny The Happy Shopper

"As USUAL" TARGET came to the rescue for our family. We needed a "quick fix" for a bug problem... and Target was the choice to shop at because of the quick response for purchase -- product is available -- product comes in several options -- this product has bonus discount$$$$$$$ :-) and last but not least we can "pick up the order" and keep going. Simple from beginning to end. We love Target!

Does not work

I purchased this item about 2 weeks ago. Before using i cleaned area and let dry overnight. I applied product throughout my house by the time I got home 6hrs later ants were back. I sprayed product directly on them, it didnt change a thing, . Then I applied in my kitchen & bathroom, front porch overnight..nothing dead or dying. Still running around, sprayed directly on bugs. Nothing happened until they drown in the stuff. They spray can works better but never last more than 1 or 2 days never 13 weeks as advertised. I can mail the cans back to you if I can get a refund.i will continue to use the can spray for ants & roaches it does kill within a few minutes I just have to purchase several cans a week. The raid max was a waste of money. Would be great if worked.

Really works, but it also works on bees, so if you don’t want them harm, don’t use it where there is fruit trees and flowers.
