Terro Liquid Ant Baits - 6ct

A: Yes. It will need protection from any children(any age), pets, rain/sprinklers and wind. I have used it near ant hills but once the wind flips it or a shower comes, it is useless. I know what you're thinking: Did it work? Yes for the hill. I have no idea if it got the nest. After I lost a few(due to wind, rain and, once, a mower, I gave up trying. They seem to be effective inside as I put one under the microwave about twice a year and it clears the problem.

A: They are not designed for outside use. We recommend the Outdoor Liquid Ant Bait Stakes for outdoor use.

A: Thank you for your question! Our liquid ant bait is designed specifically for sweet-eating ants, so it may help control ants that are attracted to sugary food sources, including certain types of sugar ants and ghost ants. However, ant preferences can vary, and not all species will be attracted to the bait. For best results, please read and follow the product label instructions for proper placement and use. We hope this helps you manage those tiny kitchen invaders!

A: No, this product isn't recommended for carpenter ants — it's designed for common sweet-eating household ants like Argentine ants, pavement ants, odorous house ants, and similar species. Carpenter ants require a product specifically labeled for them. For carpenter ants, we'd recommend TERRO's dedicated carpenter ant products (such as the Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer aerosol), since carpenter ants aren't attracted to sugar-based baits the same way and won't be effectively controlled by this one.

A: Terro Liquid Ant Baits are designed for use in and around homes and other structures. They have not been tested for use inside vehicles, so we cannot recommend using them in cars. If you would like to try them, make sure it is not moving to prevent the liquid to spill.

A: TERRO® Liquid Ant Bait Stations should be placed in areas that are inaccessible to pets and children. When used and placed according to the label directions, they can be used around the home. If you have pets that may chew on or play with the bait stations, we recommend placing them in locations your pets cannot reach.
