Description
Attract and kill the ants you see and the ones you don’t with TERRO Liquid Ant Baits. The liquid, which contains borax, is specifically designed to allow worker ants to consume the product, and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest. Ants consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass it around to the rest of the colony. The active ingredient in the bait slowly interferes with the ants’ digestive systems, ultimately killing them.
Since this is a bait product, you will initially see more ants as they are attracted to the liquid – but don’t worry, this is a good thing. After the bait is consumed, insect populations will begin to decline. Complete control may take up to two weeks.

Q: Can this be used outdoors?

A: Yes. It will need protection from any children(any age), pets, rain/sprinklers and wind. I have used it near ant hills but once the wind flips it or a shower comes, it is useless. I know what you're thinking: Did it work? Yes for the hill. I have no idea if it got the nest. After I lost a few(due to wind, rain and, once, a mower, I gave up trying. They seem to be effective inside as I put one under the microwave about twice a year and it clears the problem.

A: Hi Jessica! This product attracts and kills common household ants, including pavement ants, Argentine ants and white-footed ants -- 95% of ants are "sugar-feeding" ants. So, yes, this product will attract most sweet eating ants. Thank you for your question!

Q: Are these the ones with the ramp that the ants can walk up (where you cut a slit in the bottom), or are they the ones with the snap off tab? The ones with the snap off tab are not as effective as the ants cannot get in as easily.

A: Our bait stations with the ramp are no longer manufactured. The newer design is with the twist off tab. The liquid formula has not changed.

Placed this bait all over my house, in an hour or so lots of ants swarm all over the house. What worked best was pouring the liquid bait out for faster effect. Some died inside the tube. Have to put this a couple of days. Eventually, it’s less and less and then gone!

It definitely attracts the ants all right. But it doesn’t seem to be actually killing them or solving the problem. I have had all six of these traps placed around my apartment for over three full days and they don’t seem to be dealing with the infestation. It obviously seems to attract a lot of ants, which has made the infestation look visibly way worse but the number of ants I’ve seen around my apartment is only increasing. I understand this is supposed to take some time to work, but it needs to work way faster. I know that the ant problem has gotten worse over the last three days and I spend a good hour each day just killing and cleaning ants off my floor, furniture, walls. People shouldn’t have to wait 3+ days for this to work, especially when they have a bad infestation. All it’s done is draw a lot of ants out into the open so I can see how bad the problem is. I guess you can use this to draw them out and kill them with something else, but that defeats the whole point of the product. Would not buy again.

Less than 2 min after I put down the bait, ants rushed the little tube. They love it! I put down Raid bait at the same time and the ants didn't care about it at all. The top didn't snap off cleanly, so I had the cut it with scissors. The tube spilled easily, but I got the hang of it on my first messy try. Definitely wear gloves if you have them. The fluid is quite sticky.

It's not snap off . I had to twist a lot to install it. And It leaked all over the place so it messed up my carpet. I used terro a few years ago and I think it was different design and worked well but not this one. It was horrible so I got a refund.

I followed the directions on the package but the ants were not coming to the bait. I decided to pour some of the liquid out on to a cut paper plate so that the ants could easily crawl to drink the bait. It also makes for easier clean up because the liquid is very sticky. Be patient with it. It's quite disgusting to watch all of them swarm out, but it really works!!

Terro Liquid Ant Baits are effective. Be aware after playing the ant bait(s), many ants may swarm in the area around the bait. Leave the ants alone. You will be ant free in a few hours or the next day. Keep Terro Ant Baits on hand. Put them out at the first sign ants.

Most effective in my opinion and have used for years, but recently there seems to be too much borax in the mix. Most of the ants die in the trap or on the way home, before killing the colony. Diluting with a bit of sugar water helps.

I have been plagued by a sugar ant infestation for weeks. I have tried a Raid bait trap, zevo, vinegar, and bleach. Nothing has worked. They die and always come back with many more friends. I bought Terro yesterday and as recommended used all six liquid traps. Oh my goodness. At first I was a little frightened because within one hour the ants had tripled in volume and I thought, well great, now we have to move. I re-read the box and it stated that this was suppose to happen. I ignored the ants and went on with my day. This morning I checked the area and I almost cried tears of joy. The 30-50 ants that were have a flipping party in my kitchen and guest bathroom were completely gone. Party over. NOT A SINGLE SUGAR ANT IS TO BE FOUND! I been checking all day and still no ants! Terro is the absolute best! I cannot recommend this product enough! If you need to rid yourself of ants, run to target and buy this stuff.
