Not spill proof at all
I threw these away immediately after I opened one so I can’t say anything about the effectiveness but they are not spill proof at all. There is small amounts of loose liquid that can spill out of the huge vents on the side. The white part inside is like a wet sponge. Obviously most of the liquid is in the sponge but it still leaks a little and it would be dangerous for a child or pet to be playing with it. I walked around with it and it dripped all over the floor. I can only imagine how much you can get out by shaking it.

Ants cant get in
Literally put the trap in a pile of ants and they couldn’t figure how to get in the trap. Left it overnight and nothing.

SUGAR ANTS
Within 12hrs no ants. Put the trap near their path (in spare bathroom that has an exterior wall). In a few hrs there was A LOT of ant activity near the trap, A LOT. A few hours later nothing. Not a single any in sight. Its now 48hrs after and still no ants.

The ants went away for 1-2 days, then came back twice as bad! I bought to be more environmentally friendly but soooo frustrated because twice as a expensive as raid traps, which always worked!

Easy, odorless, effective!
Odorless and works well! I was finding an ant here and there in my kitchen and decided to buy these traps. I put one next to my kitchen trash can and within 5 hours, the trap was filled with ants to my surprise since I never saw more than one or two maybe once a week. 12 hours after putting the trap out, the ants are gone. It’s been 2 days and they haven’t come back. Will be putting more of these around!

I somehow got a crazy ant infestation within the span of 2 days. My kitchen was COVERED. I was disgusted and needed them gone ASAP. These traps had the best reviews so I got them. I put all 4 traps down last night. They didn’t go near it at first but awhile after I went to check and they were going in and out of them. I have not seen one ant at all today, thank God! I would 10/10 recommend these!

One trap worked in 24 hours
I have been trying to find an effective way to eliminate or significantly reduce the over abundance of smaller “sugar” or “pavement” ants this season. Several other low toxic pet friendly methods have not been working. The ants change the trail or move the nest outdoor by a few feet. We had a pretty busy steady stream of busy ants the past day or two so I gave the STEM trap a try. We had used another not so pet friendly similar trap last year which was not effective at all. The ants are usually after water, protein or sugar. They have been zeroing in on any crumb of food our kitties leave behind. I rotate and clean their bowls and mat throughout the day so there not an exactly a big bowl or kibble or wet food sitting around. Yesterday the ants were swarming in as our cats were trying to have thier last kibble feeding for the day. I figured the ants might still prefer the food protein over the trap. I grabbed a low wide yogurt container then made two small edge holes and taped it closed with the trap, and covered kibble. I also placed it where the ant trail established was the strongest. Hope fully I will not need the other 3 traps right away but one did the trick with the added protein enclosed with the trap.

Can’t tell if I even like this product because I got an empty box. I couldn’t believe it when I opened the box, but there were no baits at all inside the package. Paid almost $8 for an empty box. Hopefully Target will believe me and not think I used them and give me a refund.

Don't believe the promo reviews!
Hese bait stations don't seem to work at all. I have seen the ants walk directly by them or even away from them. The plastic lip seems like its too thick for them to just casually walk into and be tricked into tasting the liquid. Such a bummer!!

I’d be hesitant to trust the promotion reviews. I bought these to help with ants in the kitchen. I have had two out for several days near the opening in the wall where they were entering. No ants have visited the trap, but they are definitely walking all around it and then off to explore other areas of the counter. Totally useless

Does the job with no mess!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I was very pleased with this ant bait. The other liquid ones I have gotten were messy so I appreciate how this one is encased in plastic so it doesn't make a mess. This is way above the other brands, I'm so thankful I don't have to deal with the mess anymore.
