Q: Many zappers claim to work on Fruit flies, but they don't work on the TINY ones that are 1-2mm. Will your product kill those TINY fruit flies? Glue traps and light traps seem ineffective on them.

Saving my sanity one fly at a time!
We for some reason have a massive issue with fruit/drain flies(old apartment, gross pipes, you get the idea). This little device has been awesome thus far and it’s been less than 24hrs, I’ve already had to take it outside and clean it once because it was so full already! While the brush provided is helpful cleaning it can be tedious. It also does not seem as powerful as I had hoped so it may take once or twice more of the flies going back before it actually gets them but it seems to draw them back no issue. It does also seem to emit a small noise(think electric lighters) it’s not nearly as bad as I was afraid of, and very mellow light as well. Not blinding so you can keep it near you and sleep okay but that also means it’s not as powerful during daylight. The only reason I removed a star is because it does seem like the battery life isn’t as long as I’d hoped and it doesn’t work as well during the day but other than that, love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mini machine is lightweight and easy to assemble. I tested out during tailgate season and it works very well. I was a bit concerned about cleaning it, but so far I have been able to just wipe and knock it in the side of the trash can and that works for me. It’s simple to charge. It works inside as well. Especially if you keep fresh fruit out year around.

Waste of money! This bug zapper is useless. I have a variety bu zappers that are different brands and sizes. This one is a total waste of money. It is very small but the main problem is that it doesn't work. Avoid this product!

DO NOT BUY - Doesn't work and you can't return it
Defintely do not recommend buying this. It doesn't work and you can't return it. It never once attracted or zapped a mosquito. It was the only light on in the room overnight with several mosquitos in the room and did not catch any of them. Also used outside with mosquitos swarming and again nada. Don't waste you money. Buying would defniretly be a waste because you can't even return it for some unknown reason exept that's the "policy" on certain items, including this one. Except nothing ever told me that was the policy before I bought it.

It was able to catch some fruit flies but I don’t think it’s powerful enough to attract much else. For the full price I don’t believe it’s worth it. I was able to get it cheaper with a rebate I found on Ibotta. I’ll keep it inside our rv trailer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The noise level in portability is great. Safety is great because it’s covered and has a hook to hang it. The effectiveness is unsure since the rechargeable device isn’t long. So it’s more of like a charge it when you go outside to use it you’d bring it with you and then not sure the length of time it lasts before it dies.

Adore STEM products, use them all. Was so excited to see a battery operated version. Unfortunately, did not work at all. Used it outside on patio during evening where there were hundreds of knats. Used it inside where we have used plug in Stem with success. Did not work. Not even for one small knat. Plus, no timer or alert that it needs recharge. Good idea but only disappointment.
