Q: There are two stem devices that look identical to me and have the same box but one is 19.99 and this one is 17.79 what is the difference? They both say they contain the device plus one refill. They have identical product boxes so I’m a bit confused.

A: Get Cedar wood blocks. Moths do not like the smell of Cedar.

A: I have not purchased it yet but per the picture, it says one device and 1 refill so I assume you are paying for the device and 1 cartridge rather than having to buy the device and get a cartridge.

I put the stem flying insect light trap right above it and wow what a difference. Yaaaaay. Those things were getting so annoying. So happy to find something that finally works. I bought this to trap flies but I am very disappointed it doesn’t work. It did catch a drain fly, gnats, fruit flies, and a small moth. I think I will wait until we go away on vacation to buy the refills. That’s when the drain flys appear. Until then, I will keep using the fly swatter and vinegar trap.

From having fresh fruit on the kitchen table to having cookouts. This has cut down on the fly situation. The kids opening and closing the door, some always manage to creep inside. This is worth buying.

I bought this and have used it for about 3 weeks. I will buy refills and continue using it. The cartridge is kind of visible from the side and a little bit in front so I will use it in my basement near the litter box. Pros: Double sided cartridge so less wasteful. Still able to access outlet below it. Reasonably priced & often has good coupons/discounts. Cons: Cartridge is somewhat visible. Not as visually appealing to me as similar items.

Honest review, these just simply don’t work. Maybe that’s why they were on clearance, I’ve had it for weeks, it has not caught flies or gnats at all. Meanwhile my saferhome ones have caught many and I’ve even killed some near the light but they just don’t go to it. Maybe it’s specific types I dunno but many are on the saferhome one and nothing on these and I bought 3.

Works for me! I have this plugged in my kitchen and it has caught multiple flies! We hosted the 4th at our home and this did a wonderful job in catching all the flies from the constant opening and closing of our doors. Obviously doesn’t catch 100% of them but came pretty close.

Don’t even bother I’ve had it for almost two weeks and it only has one. I’ve moved it to different locations thinking that was the issue but results are still the same. Don’t waste your time.
