Doesn’t work at all!

Works really well, but no one has the refills. Very disappointing. Review would be 5 stars if these were available!

Never once did a fruit fly go inside the apple. Flew around the apple. So absolutely no way will I waste my money on these.

Thinking this product would be better than the other brand I bought in the past, I was so wrong to do so. It has not picked up any fruit flies in over a week.

They seem to repel the flies instead of luring them into the trap

Did not help AT ALL! No matter where this apple was placed, no fruit fly was even attracted to it. Gave it a few days and weeks, nothing! Not worth the time nor money.

Wasted my money. I’ve tried a similar trap of a different brand that worked well. This one first took a couple days for the gnats to even notice. Then I watched them go inside and enjoy it and fly right back out. The top has two larger openings then they are supposed to go down in the funnel and get stuck but it rarely worked. I saw tons of them in it one afternoon and later there were maybe 2 dead inside.

It did not entrap any fruit flies. They weren’t even attracted to the scent

It was useless. I thought I’d save myself some hassle and use this instead of poking some holes in plastic wrap and securing it over a condiment dish of ACV/lil water/drop of dish soap. 24 hours later and both of these pods have caught 0 fruit flies. The old ACV condiment dish actually caught 2 even though it had already sat out long past the point of freshness. At least I can reuse the pods.

This trap is disappointing. Caught maybe 3 flies. I've used a different brand and it was full. Where I live, these are pretty much useless. I won't be buying these again- tried two different times and not worth the money.

If I could give this -10 stars, I would! At this point, they need to discontinue this crap because it was a waste of my money, time and product. IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! It is a shame this brand took my coins. Just horrible.

They work! I’m really confused about the rest of the reviews. It worked great and got rid of the problem. Love that design.

I bought a two pack last week. I’m having a lot of issues with fruit flies. I’ve followed the instructions, adding water when needed and such. And this morning I watched a fruit fly go into it, and then fly right back out. Waste of money.

I bought the two pack of these because I had fruit flies in both my kitchen and my main bathroom for whatever the reason. I put one in each room, the one in the bathroom caught all types of flies! The one in my kitchen? Didn’t catch a single dang fly at all. I’m giving it 3 stars only because it was very effective in my bathroom. Lost 2 stars because it didn’t do squat in my kitchen. Side note I’m not sure if it was highly effective in my bathroom because I shut the door and it was enclosed, that could be the reason.

Didn’t attract any fruit flies. Can’t believe Raid would put their name on this.

These things seem to be hit or miss. Tried them for a month early in the Summer when the flies started showing up and didn't catch anything. One was in the kitchen, near the sink, and another down in the basement. Set them up again with the included refill packets a couple of weeks ago in the same spot in the basement and the one in the kitchen moved to the top of the stove. Both have trapped about 6 to 10 flies now. I have also hung up the good old fashioned fly paper down in the basement, near the same spot at the trap, and have a desk lamp that shines up on it at night. This has caught a significant amount of fruit flies. However, it does seem that this combination of methods seems to be keeping them under control (I don't use the fly paper in the kitchen). So I would say the results of this trap are going to be hit or miss, and there's probably more effective ways of trapping a lot of the flies if you have a large infestation like we do. Trying to find refill packets also seem to be an issue. Once the current packets are used up, I will attempt the homebrewed remedies in the traps to see if it continues to work.
