Not catching mice yet!
Easy to set and place in several places, but after several days and different baits, we found mice feces but nothing trapped! Maybe the mice don’t provide enough weight to trip the mechanism.

Make sure the bait is placed behind the trigger so the mouse must step fully onto it, and place the trap along walls where activity has been seen. Useless
I watched mice just dance around it. We set them up near their holes or where we’ve seen them. They aren’t interested at all it’s like they know what these things are. Glue traps are more effective

I had a mouse in my house one evening and I was literally freaking out!! I googled the fasted way to get rid of a mouse and this product came up. I went to target picked up the traps set them up in my kitchen and within five minutes the mouse was trapped, and my problem was over!!!

Has worked for me twice now, easy to bait I have used peanut butter twice now, a lot easier to use then a traditional mouse trap in my opinion. But the fact it’s worked twice for me I highly recommend. No clue why there are reviews saying it’s garbage I just don’t think they are using it right

We’re sorry to hear the Victor® Safe-Set® Mouse Trap didn’t trigger as expected. For best results, place the trap on a flat surface along a wall where mice travel and use a very small amount of bait so the mouse has to apply pressure directly to the trigger.

Don't buy
These are complete garbage - don’t waste your time. They will literally not set. The plastic is cheap and they just close immediately.

Gets the job done!
Easy to set, took a week or so, but finally caught the mouse running around our home. Played with different baits and locations but peanut butter seemed to do the trick. Only complaint is it seemed to take a bit to spring the trap. I put a good amount of peanut butter in the trap, and when I released the dead mouse, the little guy had eaten all of the peanut butter, so it had been munching for bit. Otherwise, it got the job done!

Doesn't Work
Don't waste your money on this - it doesn't trap the mice. They are the peanut butter out of the bait area without triggering the trap.
