[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure yet if these Press 'N Set traps are as sturdy over time as the regular wooden Tomcat traps. They are plastic, which means they'll probably break faster than good ol' wood and metal types. However, they are much easier and more intuitive to set. There's no fiddling around with a wire bar, spring, and hook; just push the set bar down until it clicks, and you're done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this mouse trap in my garage near my garbage cans as this was the area I was finding mouse droppings. I placed some peanut butter in the trap and within 2 days the little guy was caught. The trap is very sensitive so be careful of your fingers when setting it. No more droppings since it was caught so hopefully he was those only one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried this before, and it seems to work fairly well. I don't use the bait they send with it, I still use my standard crunchy peanut butter. Using that, they work almost as well as a standard wooden snap trap. The provided bait is a bit of a waste, as I've tried that and peanut butter side by side, and the mice seem to always go to the peanut butter.

I can honestly say that these are so much better than traditional mousetraps. The bait isn’t included. I used just a bit of peanut butter in the well. We normally get mice in the house a few times a year. I notice them in the kitchen area because I have a motion light that will go off in my mud room just outside the kitchen. This is where I like to set the traps. Although I’m sure that we currently don’t have any mice, I’ve had this trap down in place for a couple of weeks now with no activity yet.

It's so easy to dispose of a trapped mouse, simply open the jaws of death and release the dead mouse into the trash. I found it very easy to re-use . Solid title device. they are very reasonably price.

This trap is the easiest to set...just press one side down and it is ready to catch them. The sides of the trap have angled teeth to catch the rodents and have a great grip. I can even use this trap with ease. Made of a durable hard plastic, these traps are well made. Just set them, add bait if needed, then wait for the catch. They are just as easy to open up as well. We highly recommend the Tomcat Press 'N Set Mouse Trap because it is the easiest to set and works great catching the rodents!

Slim chance of snapping your fingers in this trap! When the critter is caught, you can either just throw it away or you can dispose of it and reset the trap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They said you can't build a better mouse trap, but Tomcat did!!! I've been using the Tomcat Press 'N Set Mouse Traps for a number of nears now. They are absolutely the best! No more accidentally snapping the trap on your fingers. No more false triggers that miss the mouse. No more wasted bait. No more mess. No more having to touch the mouse after you trap it. These things are amazing! Simply put a small amount of your chosen bait in the little circle, press down the back side of the trap until it clicks, then set in place. That's all it takes! These are supposed to be single use traps, but I use them over and over again. When I trap a mouse, I simply pick up the trap by the back end (far from the mouse), hold it over a zip lock bag, squeeze the back end and let the mouse drop into the bag. The trap pretty much automatically resets. Put it back in place and it's ready to catch another mouse. I always check the bait, but you usually don't even have to add any as these traps get the mouse the second it approaches the bait. I usually use a little dab of peanut butter, but the Tomcat Liquid Bait also works great. This is absolutely the best mouse trap ever made! Highly recommend!!!

Very easy to Bait, Set ,Catch and Reset, occasionally the bait does not get touched, so just squeeze the handles to release and reset almost in one motion.
