Description
All it takes is one simple set. The Tomcat® Press 'N Set® Mouse Trap is guaranteed* to kill mice and allows for easy, no-touch disposal. These plastic, spring-loaded snap traps are easy to set and reduce the risk of pinched fingers. To use, place a pencil eraser-sized dollop of food such as peanut butter into the bait well. After baiting, pull the set bar back the entire way until you hear a "click" to tell you it is locked. Mice have a natural tendency to run along walls as they move from hiding to feeding, so we recommend placing traps with the bait well facing the walls of rooms or cupboards where activity is suspected, such as kitchens, utility rooms, or garages (droppings and oily marks along baseboards are a telltale sign of activity). Once the mouse has been killed, pick up the trap using the grab tab and dispose of the trap and the mouse in the trash. Your fingers will never touch the dead mouse! First time ever having to use a pest trap like this! I put a small dab of peanut butter in the trap (just be careful the trap may snap close while you’re positioning it and putting the bait inside of it.) This caught the mouse that was living under my sink - super easy to clean up, super easy to use.

I like the idea and that its disposable, but doesn't always kill them. 2 out of 4 mice ive caught were just injured and stuck. Thie last one got its face stuck and it bleed while it thrashed around. We were at the dinner table and one of my son's started crying about the mouse.

I mean, it does seem like it's flimsy, but it (unfortunately) caught a juvenile black snake and half-severed it's head. Impressive, considering we'd just put it in the garage less than 2 hours prior. Half eager, half terrified to know what the other Tomcat Traps catch.

I like how these mouse traps are when setting it just makes it easier so you do not have to snap your fingers on accident they are made extremely well and work as well if not better than any other mouse trap. Highly recommend these.

The instructions are right on the packaging and easy to understand. What is included in the box is two disposable traps only. You have to get your own bait to put on the traps. It also has a handy grip for when the mouse is caught so you do not have to touch it. It comes in a two pack and is disposable. It’s powerful and was able to catch a mice quickly. The only thing is that it kills the mice as well. It is disposable. We have to put some food as a bait to trap the mice. Overall very effective if you are dealing with the rodents!

Also doesn't snap closed when placing it on the floor. I use peanut butter for the bait. I think it works better than cheese.
