Ortho BugClear Insect Killer Concentrate 32 oz

Worked well! No issues w/ hose connection that others mentioned. I used it for yellow jackets (under ground YJ nests, spiders and all the other creepy crawlers) and it definitely made a difference. Will spray again before the snow gets here.

Sprays 2 bottles on yard. Did NOTHING! Don’t waste your money

Read the label. Follow the directions. Change the flow if you need to at the water spigot. It worked just fine for me and it killed the bugs I was concerned with.

I used this product for fleas with no results. The 4 fake reviews out of 11 total should of told me it was just a waist of money.

I sprayed for over 30 minutes and the chemical didn't seem to go down in the bottle much at all. How am I supposed to know if it's applying right?

I was really looking forward to trying this product as I have used many other ortho brand products and found them effective but the bottle doesn’t seem to be properly made. I tried to connect it on 3 different garden hoses and every time it leaks immediately.

I cant speak for the quality of the product, because i just came inside after attempting to apply it. I usually by a cheaper Brand X bug killer, but this time i splurged on Ortho. I had no complaints about Brand X - It's just that we're expecting a hotter summer than usual, so i wanted to bring out the big guns. (To protect my little dogs from fleas and ticks.) Anyway ... So i went outside to spray. Hooked everything up and started spraying, and it was a huge mess. It doesn't spray more than four or five feet - if that. And it sprays out in every direction in blobs, gurgling and getting all over me. I have rubber gloves on, so my hands were protected. But it even splashed on my face. (Which is kind-of burning right now. Especially around my mouth.) Not cool. It doesn't spray an even, regulated stream of any type. Such a disappointment! And what's worse is i bought the refill to use in a few months. How tough can it be to design a functional sprayer? Brand X has it down. Nozzles have it down. The technology is there. Use it!! Your product is useless if we can't apply it. I didn't come here to review this product. I came to this site to see if there are some further instructions on how to use it. I couldn't imagine Ortho would put out such a shoddy product. I figured there must be some secret ... Or maybe it was a more sophisticated sprayer than I'm used to. Unfortunately I now think Ortho has indeed put out a shoddy product, and they are fully aware of it. There is no secret - and it's not at all sophisticated. A squirt gun would do a better job. At least i wouldn't be drenched in bugspray when I'm done.

I purchased 2 bottles of the Ortho Bug Clear but unfortunately both bottles leaked from the sprayer heads. I was very disappointed because I use the product each year and get good results. The leaking bottles seems to be an ongoing hit or miss thing for many users it seems.

Nothing works better! I use the spray and granules! I have my entire family using it now!

Bought 2 bottles to treat the backyard. Both sprayers leaked and sprayed everywhere and back on me. Neither bottle worked properly. I was not able to dispense the contents to treat the yard. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this product.

Have used this for years as well as the indoor product also. This is a superior product to have with pets because it is non-toxic thank you ortho

This, and every other Ortho Weed killer products, are completely useless. I suppose if you want to kill your family pet, it might work for that use. But it doesn't do a thing to kill the weeds in your yard. After using the concentrate mixture several times on my weeds, are getting zero results, I tried using the concentrate directly on the weeds...and even that didn't kill a single weed. Ortho weed killers are absolutely useless.

I have been purchasing and using this product for years! I live 10 yards from a creek and the stream leading to the creek unfortunately runs under my house. As a result I deal with a lot of pesty flies, gnats, mosquitos, carpenter ants, black ants, spiders, and all sorts of disgusting insects. Ortho Bugclear and home defense is the only insecticide that works. I reapply once every spring, summer, & fall.

I have used every type of bug spray out there. We live in an area that gets lantern flys which kills all plants. This is the first spray to kill even the lantern flys! If you apply early enough to get two applications before summer, you’re set for a bug free yard! Of course you may need to spray mid summer but this stuff works miracles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This solution is great. Took care of my mosquito problem in two treatments. I'm able to go outside and enjoy my outdoor living space without being eaten alive anymore. It is insecticide so of course be careful where you spray it (leave the bees alone) but I've found if I just apply a good layer across the lawn itself, and avoid the plants and bushes it does the truck just fine and wards off mosquitoes like no one's business

I used this product to try and get rid of cinch bugs. The moths would fly all over the place when walking though the yard. First I tried the spray bottle. Knocked them back for a few days but they came back with a vengeance. Then I tried the concentrate a week later. Little to no effect. Not sure what the deal is but this doesnt seem to work very well on these bugs. I used the whole spray and concentrate bottle both times.

Thst should have easily covered my back yard. Didnt eve hit a third of that

I guess if you got a free product to review, then you got a good sprayer with the product. I paid for my product and got the solution all over my hands from a leaking sprayer. So I have to agree with other reviewers. Terrible failure. If you can get past that to rate the actual effectiveness, great. I couldn't. Nothing but a mess. So not happy.

Product level did not go down after spraying 2000 SQ feet. Product in On position. Poor design barly can see product level due to hose is on same side as indicator. also if safe way to color product it would make more visible.

I used this stuff every 2 months during Spring & Summer after moving into a new home (in a new state). I wondered if it was the product that kept the bugs away or if it was the new state we were living in? The following year I didn’t use any insecticides on the lawn. By the time the end of the summer approached we had SO MANY bugs! Mosquitoes, two types of little flies covering the lawn, yellowjackets, spiders … we couldn’t stand being outside. The third year I had a baby in early Spring so we were inside most of the hot Spring & Summer. But when we did go outside, we were quickly chased back in the house by flying bugs. The yellowjackets mostly! This year I will be applying this stuff consistently. Never again will I skip an application. I want to ENJOY my yard! The funny part is that I commented about how we didn’t have any bugs the first summer we were here and that the last two summers we had soooo many yellowjackets. Everybody kept saying “We always have a ton of yellowjackets!” I didn’t see a single one the summer I applied this spray, so I was surprised to hear the neighbors around me were suffering with Yellowjacket problems while we were barbecuing and enjoying our yard that summer.
