Q: Have you tested it on mosquitos by now? Last time question was asked has been 7 months ago.

A: I just put the unit in next to my banana/frult holder. And in just three days about 35 fruit flies are stuck on the sticky refill and so is a moth and 2 winged bugs that usually hang around a porch lights as well as several mosquitoes. I was hesitant at first to spend that much for a pest control item not knowing how well it worked if at all. But the fruit flies were relentless and aggressive and followed me into my bedroom where they lay in wait until I fell asleep to fly into my mouth and up my nose. Well I wasn’t going to let them get away with it and so I took advantage of the 2-pack deal offered by them Target for my home and host/hostess gifts. With its ease of operation-just place it in an outlet near trash cans, fruit, dirty diaper dispensers, or sink drains as nd no more bugs trying to run you out of you home and no poisoning the air with pesticides and no concoctions to fill in or spill from a decoy apple. And it doubles as a nightlight too

A: It depends on the type of moth. Pantry moths are attracted to light and have been caught in Zevo Flying Insect Traps many times.

We bought this due to REALLY bad gnats from fruit and vegitables being out and it being summer time. We installed 2 of them and slowly but surely all of the gnats were gone !

It will catch some but don't expect it to fix your fruit fly problem. Most ignore it.

We're sorry to hear about this. Those fruit flies should fly right to the traps light. However, if other light sources are shining on the trap, it can confuse them. Within a day it was full of gnats and flies I didn’t even notice before. Just plug it in and forget it. It does all the work for you. Super easy to use, no gross cleanup, and it actually works. It operates silently, with no zaps or any indication that it's catching bugs. I also received a two-pack refill, which was a great bonus. Replacing the refill is a breeze—just remove the protective sleeve and insert it. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to keep bugs out of their home. If you have a significant fly issue, you might need to replace the refills more frequently, depending on your specific needs. I replaced mine after 30 days. Overall, this is a fantastic product that I recommend having in your home.

We live here in the jungle of Hawaii. Small flying insects can easily enter your home here. Tired of fighting small fruit flies and other small flying insects we decided to try the Zevo trap. We plugged it into an outlet in our kitchen near where we keep our fruit bowl. I was amazed and impressed to see in the morning the amount of bugs that the trap had caught. After just three days the trap was so full of caught insects that we had to change the sticky pad. It was nice to see the following morning that upon the new pad there were less insects. That was an indication that the trap was working and dwindling the number of small insects in our home. I would highly recommend the Zevo trap.

Our Zevo Trap was designed to attract and trap a variety of flying insects, particularly those attracted to our dual spectrum of blue & UV light, such as gnats. If the trap isn't catching bugs within week, we recommend trying different locations. Another tip is to avoid plugging the trap where furniture, doors, curtains, or corners may obstruct the insect from finding its way to the trap. I bought these for some sewer flies we had spring up in our home and they worked amazingly well. I was switching out the inserts frequently because of how many they caught. Caught more than I knew we had. Gross to think they would have been in my house if not the trap.

I always worry about using pesticides since I have a small dog at home, but this product gave me peace of mind and results. It’s super easy to set up, and within no time it started catching flies. I’ve had mine plugged up for a couple of weeks now and it has all the above, a spider, and a mosquito hawk. All I do is turn off all the lights at night and let it work its little magic. Highly recommend this product.

The main thing I’ve noticed? I hardly see any insects caught on it. At first, I wondered if maybe I wasn’t placing it in the right spot. I tried a few different outlets around the house just to be sure, but the results stayed the same clean trap, no bugs. Now, I’m starting to think the real reason might be simpler: I just don’t have many insects in my home right now. I usually notice a few fruit flies here and there when we’ve got bananas laying around, but lately we haven’t had any out. So maybe there just haven’t been any bugs for it to trap. That said, I do believe the Zevo would work if insects were actually around. It’s quiet, subtle, and easy to plug in and forget. I’d especially recommend it for those times when fruit flies suddenly appear out of nowhere like during summer or when you’ve got ripe produce sitting out. In short: It seems like a smart, effective solution if you’re actively dealing with flying insects. I’ll be keeping it plugged in for peace of mind and will definitely test again next time the fruit flies decide to visit.

We have all kinds of bugs fly in every single time we open the door, and let me just say, they flock to this device. The blue light is actually so very nice to have on it, and the adhesive for the insects is strong and catches a lot of insects. I have seen less bugs in just a few days because of this device. Super happy with this.
