Q: Have you tested it on mosquitos by now? Last time question was asked has been 7 months ago.

A: I just put the unit in next to my banana/frult holder. And in just three days about 35 fruit flies are stuck on the sticky refill and so is a moth and 2 winged bugs that usually hang around a porch lights as well as several mosquitoes. I was hesitant at first to spend that much for a pest control item not knowing how well it worked if at all. But the fruit flies were relentless and aggressive and followed me into my bedroom where they lay in wait until I fell asleep to fly into my mouth and up my nose. Well I wasn’t going to let them get away with it and so I took advantage of the 2-pack deal offered by them Target for my home and host/hostess gifts. With its ease of operation-just place it in an outlet near trash cans, fruit, dirty diaper dispensers, or sink drains as nd no more bugs trying to run you out of you home and no poisoning the air with pesticides and no concoctions to fill in or spill from a decoy apple. And it doubles as a nightlight too

A: It depends on the type of moth. Pantry moths are attracted to light and have been caught in Zevo Flying Insect Traps many times.

A: Great question. While we've not tested our Zevo Indoor Flying Insect Trap on mosquitos, we can report that several users have shared that their Traps capture bugs other than Fruit flies, House flies, and gnats.

We have two big dogs that tend to go in and out frequently; therefore, we get a lot of houseflies beginning in the spring and through late summer. In addition, we keep our trash bin in the garage, and it attracts a lot of flies, as well. The guy at the hardware store raved about these, so I went all in. I may have purchased too many Zevo traps but I installed four a month ago. One is in the garage, two are on the main floor near doors, and one is upstairs, where the houseflies migrate at night as our bedroom lights are the last lights on at night. The traps are steadily accumulating flying insects, including large houseflies, but we have not been aware of any flies in the house. It has been so nice not to have a fly buzzing around. I'm pleased with this product. I'll be purchasing refills soon.

Love the fact you can swap the inserts, most especially during the summer months that small insects try to sneak into your home. I placed my insect trap in my mud room located next to the garage. Within 5 minutes my zevo was working wonders and trapping those small creatures. The trap is a plug in trap and works silently!

I have a huge bug problem especially in the summer and this solves it completely. they are sleek so they look great in the wall and easy to set up. plus they double as a night light. no noise is made and they last forever

The light isn't super bright but it is bright enough that you can use it like a night light in whatever room you plug it in. I plugged mine in my kitchen close to the kitchen sink and it has been amazing. We have issues with gnats and flies occasionally due to children not cleaning food out of the sink drain strainer cover so it attracts gnats pretty quickly and this trap has caught almost every gnat in that area.
Not happy, price is high and results are poor.

Flies are an issue on farms, and for the price of start up traps and refills, it definitely doesn’t work well at all. I have been using for a month, and between 3 traps, the 8 flies are definitely not worth it. I also purchased the spray, it doesn’t work well either, “kills on contact” isn’t what I have experienced. My fly swatter has been far more effective. While a few flies have been caught, overall I have found the price vs effectiveness is very disappointing. I wouldn’t complain about cost if it worked as reported. I have the traps still installed, because well I’ve purchased them…I’ll continue the battle. Just cannot see it being a purchase again, unless a servers upgrade on effectiveness is done.

Our Zevo Trap was designed to attract and trap a variety of flying insects, particularly those attracted to our dual spectrum of blue & UV light, such as gnats. It doesn’t make any noise and it has a light that has doubled as a night light for the kids. This was used in a hallway near the dogs food bowl and it has caught so many bugs!

I have it plugged in beside my patio door. We frequently get moths and mosquitoes sneaking in when people go in and out. Look at all the bugs it caught! The blue light helps attract them. It’s also easy to remove and replace with a new sticky film.

I haven’t seen any bugs flying around, but the catcher got them! The light is drawing them in so that’s less work for me! I plugged it in near my fruit bowl (where gnats love to hang out), and within a day or two, I started seeing results. It silently attracts and traps flies, gnats, and other annoying bugs using light—no smell, no mess, no harsh chemicals. It’s small and sleek, so it doesn’t stick out in my kitchen, and it even doubles as a soft nightlight. I was starting to wonder if I need to get sprays or sticky traps but as soon as I received this in the mail, popped it in where I was having the most issues and it got rid of the infestation within 3 days. The first day I noticed maybe a handful of stragglers but on day three they were all gone!! The picture I included was what I saw day 3 when I took the clear sticky screen part off. Definitely buying more replacements. Also I enjoyed the glow of this, it’s not too bright.
