Great concept, mediocre practicality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fly trap starter kit had all the makings of really being something, and although it wasn’t completely worthless, I was disappointed on the efficiency. The light was entirely too bright during the nighttime, and it took a long time to “fill up” the first insert- more time than I have honestly. Still a great concept, I just think it could be improved a little.

This product is amazing! I have small kiddos who constantly leave my doors open in the summer and all sorts of bugs end up in the house. The proof is on the pad with this! It defintely works best at night when all the other lights are off, but you wake up to multiple bugs trapped on the sticky and it feels incredibly successful! Would defintely recommomend and will continue to buy over and over again!

Garbage! I can’t believe this thing has good reviews. Maybe I’ve got the world’s smartest fruit flies because after 3 days of having this blue light going I’ve caught a grand total of 0 fruit flies and it’s not for lack of them around the light. I’m flabbergasted and annoyed and still hosting a fruit fly slumber party in the kitchen.

I bought this one because it was a bit cheaper. The blue part isn’t connected to the light and is extremely sticky. It sticks on stuff super easily. Has not worked that well, so I went and bought the more expensive one and it has worked wonders compared to this. Mine also had a funny smell being plugged into the wall for couple hours.
